Guest Shawn Report post Posted April 3, 2002 Since I'm a little bored and not much is going on, I'm going to try and start something so here goes... What is your SWF(JL) goal or dream? It might be just to make it to the WF or even be the SWF World champion. Heh... it could even be to snag for first win (Cutthroat). Personally, I like what I'm doing now and if I get any higher that's great. I'll probably get bumped to the WF in a few months (if I continue to improve) and sometime retire to mark JL matches. I really love writing storylines (as some of you that work with me might already know) and would love to do so if the JL midcard ever goes dry or if anyone needs a line. My goal: to someday force King to return so that we can finally have a one on one match where we both write. Same goes for X. I'd also like to touch that world title one day, just so I can say I've hit the apex and been amongst the mighty champeens. I also want to put Shawn Brody through a lumberjack, because he's a tool. Guest realitycheck Report post Posted April 4, 2002 Whoa! Nice topic, Shawn. Hmm, let me see... There's a few things I'd like to do. First off, I'd like to be not so lazy that I inevitably start writing a match THE DAY IT'S DUE. Gawd, what's wrong with me? I'd like to say I want to win the SJL world title, but that seems kinda' lofty from where I am right now. Not to mention virtually impossible consitering my character. I DON'T want to be one of those people who get bumped from the JL to the WF, and then retire after my first match. No offence to the guys who've done it (Adam the Red, Renegade, Kaimen Roja) they all had great JL careers, but when you're bumped, that's basically just the START of your career. Just imagine how mach *better* these guys could of been. I want to wrestle ONE tag match with Edwin MacPhisto. Whether for the titles or not. I want to have the writing skill to logically advance Z's character, and do a super swank angle I'm constantly planning. Those are my dreams, yo. Silencer only lasted a little while longer, but he made it into the summer at least. Wooee, the next PPV will mark the anniversary of my bumpage. Crazy meat! (Don's labcoat, and assumes instructors pose.) Edwin MacPhisto's first WRITTEN IGNWF match was, in fact... (drumroll) ... ... ... JaysonG versus Fallout! Indeed, folks, the Mac Daddy's first match didn't even have him in it! The premise was the the then face Jayson was feuding with Fallout and his Prime Evil goons, who indended to destroy his federation! Towards the end of the match, Edwin jumped form the crowd, or maybe he just interfeered normally, damned if I know, and cost Fallout the win! He would later cite that he was envious that his Carnival buddies, KoH and Spark, had been bumbed before him, and Jayson offered him a IGNWF contract, IF he would join his new corporation! This would lead to successful heel run, with Edwin gartering his first ICTV title, and his partner, Bobby Riley, gunning for the World title. Let's see here: Win the JL World Title and not job it this time (i won a match for it but wrote champ at the time LDP as the winner). Move up to the SWF for more than a one time appearance (was bumped up for Clusterfuck, but came right back down again after it). Be around for the next Clusterfuck match. It was probably the most fun thing i've written, and if all this is still around that time next year i'd love to do it again. Win SWF Lightheavyweight, Hardcore Gamers and Tag Team Titles. If i could win those at some point i'd be very happy indeed. Bigger titles like the ICTV or World would just be bonuses, and if i could ever approach winning them i'd be super happy, but i'd be content to mingle around the lower titles. I know it sounds odd, but were I to win this or the HCG title, that would let me be the first ever "Grand Slam" Champion in the SWF. - Keep the Carnival going. - Finally, some way, somehow, frickin' beat Thugg!!!!!!!! Guest AnnieEclectic Report post Posted April 4, 2002 Good question, Brody. I see why they let you in the Clan ;-) Well, I actually have one regret, I never got the Euro gold in the JL. My TV Title run ended with my World Title win. Heh, but still, would have been nice as I technically was Tag/Stables champion with XF9, although I was never in a match. As for the WF, I'd like to win a match first, then come up with dreams. If I can beat ELM (which if you know ELM's career, that's a HUGE ELEPHANT CRUSHING if) I might have a chance to grab the LHW title. I of course have that child-like dream to be world champ. But that would take a lot of hard work, skill, talent, and some luck, and I'm not sure if I have enough of all four. Especially on the luck part of it. Heh. Unless.........If K-Os can somehow come up with a great enough bribe for his marker, and cheat his way to a win, GSMS shall replace the crack of a bat sound effect in his entrance to the squeaking of a rubber duck. I've accomplished so much in my brief career... the undefeated Stables Title run, the Heavyweight Championship, ruling the ML, killer feuds with Thugg/ELM/AtR, of course all of the Carnival zaniness... it would seem that there is nothing left for me. Well, maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration. Believe it or not I always wanted a tag title run, but it never panned out for various reasons. And once I'm done being all heelish (and trust, there is more to come there) I would like to come back for one last face run as KoH to see if I could do as a good guy what I accomplished as a bad guy: the Heavyweight belt. Guest Insane Clown Dan Report post Posted April 5, 2002 My goal is to establish myself as a credible main eventer (meaning that people don't predict against me every single time... like they do now), then have a decent world title run and get bumped up into the WF. Pretty simple. I did have the opportunity to finally beat K-Os into a bloody pulp in that HIAC and prove that I actually have worth, but those were some bad times for me, that one week. I nearly quit for good. So maybe in the WF, if he hasn't turned into a total HVT-like champion by then, we could dance the tango of death once again... Pretty ambitious. But if I can fight off my restricting parents and write to my full potential, I know I can acheive my distant goals. Oh yeah, and there's one more. He's the only person that I had problems with and we had a few matches and I got defeated in all of them... I want to finally beat him. 2. Winning the ICTV champion and the World champion... I need those two belts to become the only person to hold every title in the fed (Disregard the light weight title for obvious situations) 3. (Impossible, but I got dreams) Re-Unite the ORIGINAL Anarchy... I know, I know, I'm too into it... But this is what I created, this is what got me to the top... Be the best ICTV champion since GSMS back in mid last year, with more than just the standard PPV defence a month. In fact, pretty much every ICTV champion since Stevens has sucked, minus the Thugg and now Edwin is getting good. I wanted defences against the works, but meh. 2. Once that was over, win the damn elusive world title. I always seem to miss out on titles with the world name in them. Three shots, two narrow losses. Ah what cha gonna do. Guest Xstasy Report post Posted April 5, 2002 Ever since I joined up in January of 2001 I've only had one major goal. And that goal is to get people X-cited by my character and angles. Of course to do that, you have to prove yourself as an X-ceptional writer and as a valuable commodity to the IGN/SWF. All I ever wanted was to make people mark out, and it seems a LONG way off still. And let me tell you, that goal is harder than BALLS to pull off!! I think there might still be a way to work towards that goal if Stubby would ever get back to me!!
