The 27 of september, Baltic Brawl will be held in Helsinki, Finland, featuring such matches as AJ Styles vs Jerry Lynn, Low Ki vs Jody Fleisch, Elix Skipper vs Sonny Siaki, Steve Corino vs Shane Douglas and Sting vs a mystery opponent.

Also on the very same card, you'll find yours truly in a tag-team match, teaming with current Norwegian champion Bjørn Sem against Makoto/Johnny Merlyn.

This is fucking unbelivable, but boy, am I looking foreward to it :headbang:

Of course, it's always possible that the card will change. Last time I was in Finland, Alex Shane and Johnny Storm no-showed without informing the promotor, Justin Credible missed his flight and my opponent (Makoto) was in the hospital after a car crash. Still, we hope for better luck this time!

I don't think that the Low-Ki vs. Jody Fleisch match will be happening. Fleisch retired and last I heard Ki had a broken jaw (or something like that).

" Holy crap. That card is incredible. You're really lucky to be there. "

Don't I know it B-)

Yeah, I also read about Fleisch, which is a crying shame, I was really looking foreward to meet him. He's supposed to be a nice guy.

I also recently learned today that both Sting and Lynn are off the card yet

I must admit that I'm not very surprised, and as the posters say:

Cards are subject to change.

Still, Styles will most likely be there, as well as Shane Douglas (who treated us rookies very well last time), so I'm sure it will be a blast!

Now, if only that promotor could inform us on our flight schedual...

Congrats, you have the most overused and unoriginal gimmick name used by atleast one person in every single two-bit indy fed.

@Masked Avenger: Do you think you have the "most overused and unoriginal gimmick name " in Europe? :D

If your name was "Texas" Masked Avenger it would be true cause old Otto Wanz gave that name to nearly every American

I must admit that I did not know that, and eventhough "Texas" Masked Avenger has a certain ring to it, I think I'll stick to Big John.

Have any results for this show?

Sonny Siaki & Elix Skipper wrestled Mike Sanders & Alan Funk in the first match on the Saturday, 9/27 Valhalla Pro Wrestling show in Helsinki, Finland. During that match, Siaki botched a splitlegged moonsault attempt by landing wrong on Funk's face and fractured several of his bones, including his orbital bone, cheek, jaw, eardrum, nose, and eye socket. He also may have a neck injury. Funk had vision in only one of his eyes well into the night of Saturday and is currently hospitalized in Helsinki. He won't be able to fly back to the U.S. for awhile until his face heals. Also on the card, A.J. Styles d. Jonny Storm, Steve Corino d. Shane Douglas, and Kid Kash d. Shark Boy.

Not to mention that yours truly defeated japanese wrestler Makoto, and thus retains his perfect Finnish record (2/0) :D

WWE announced they would be comming to Finland later, and the promotor assumed more fans would prioritize this event. He therefore came to an agreement with Sting that he would appear at a later show.

At least that's what I'm being told, but the promotor seems like an honest fellow, and I don't think he would announce Sting knowing that he would not arrive.

Thanks for your interest, though!

Edit: Dragon-Half rules! Especially Damaramu...
