Does nash's injury open the door

Now with Nash on the shelf, does this open the door for HBK to fill in his shoes. Some random points to ponder.

 

Has HBK burned enough bridges to mess up a possible return. Michaels is not seen as a bright spot in the locker room and rubs people the wrong way. He has been sent home several times when the wwf has contemplated returning him to regular tv.

 

Would he be a good addition to the nwo? If he joined Pac and Hall, they would seem more like DX then the nwo. I always thought of the nwo as big bullies and DX as attitude having pissants. With Michaels on board they would have possibly more heat because all 3 men have that annoying asshole-like personalities.

 

Or does Nash going down make room for the much anticipated (at least on this board) heel turn for HHH?

I think HBK would be a good replacement for Nash.  He is a better athlete (assuming he can work again), he is a much better heel, and he is better on the mic.  I would add him to the group and just release Nash.

This may be true. However Nash was broken when he came back and that didn't stop the wwf from giving him millions. Plus they already have HBK on contract, so they wouldn't lose any more money. Plus Nash was useless when he came back anyway. HBK MAY be able to breathe a little life into an already dead nwo angle. (thanks Austin)

Ever since the day after WM14, there's been this "HBK is going to return to the ring" rumor crap.  I personally think its wishful thinking.  After four years, I think if he was going to come back, he would have by now.  So many great chances to come back, none taken.  He either can't come back, or won't come back, or isn't being permitted to come back.

 

And I don't care which one it is, as long as it's one of them.

 

I hate HBK.  Always have, always will, I don't miss him one damn bit, and the sooner people finally shut up and let go of Wrestling's Biggest Primadonna the better.  In fact, I kinda wish HBK would die in a car accident or at least lose one of his legs or be paralyzed or something.  You know, something to make it absolutely 100% guaranteed that he will never return, and so clear that every idiot HBK fan has to finally accept it.

Just curious, what do you guys think about this scenario.  

 

Hall & X-pac come out and they blame Kane for taking out Nash.  They're bitching and moaning, and generally getting heel heat.  HBK walks out, and starts trashing the NWO verbally, obviously getting a big pop by doing so and walks towards the ring.  He tells them that the NWO is pretty much dead without Hogan and Nash in it..

 

He goes into the ring and says that they are some of his best friends, and he always wanted them to be a part of something bigger than the NWO.  Bigger than all of them.  He says that this is something that should have happened years ago, but the bastards at the old WCW wouldn't let you free.  He hands them DX shirts and tells them to put them on.  With the 3 of them, and HHH as the champ, they can be unstoppable.  They put the shirts on, and reform DX and effectively prove that they were better than the NWO.  They approach HHH and he turns them down, saying he's better on his own and they turn on him.  

 

What do you think....am I reaching Tommy Fiero retardness or what?

As for the nWo falling apart all I have to say is hahahahahaha.  But on a serious note I think that HHH should be the new leader of nWo therefore he can continue the angle of HHH vs Undertaker on Raw, hopefully giving their match at Backlash some kind of backstory.

What has to be considered however, is that even though Nash's injured that doesn't mean he won't be on Tv. he will just be the 7 foot slug lumbering around ringside maybe tripping people or big booting them on the outside. Nash's character may evolve into more of a brains behind the nWo while his arm is healing. from there they could add their old wayward buddy Justin (I can't believe its butter or Aldo montoya) Credible.  Then you got a Xfactor Reunion and Scott Hall as your main nWo Wrestlers while Nash, as I mention, slug about the ring tripping people and big booting people.

 

You know whats strange about this whole injury situation... Nash suddenly hurt his wittle arm just when the Kane vs nWo Angle was starting up. Maybe he doesn't want to have a PPV match Kevin Nash vs Kane. Lets face it Kane's another big guy who is about 2 times more talented than Nash. Maybe the Brittle Big man didn't want to get shown up.

As for Nash, I don't see how they'd keep him on tv if he can't take a bump.  Sure he could come to the ring but even then, heels at ringside still take bumps.

Thanks....but I just came up with that off the top of my head.  I dont think it was that great...personally, I dont like bringing back groups over and over again, I was just curious as to what you guys thought of it.

A reformed DX would get a lot more heat then the current NWO. If they went like they did in their first run I think it would for sure be over. This would give Hall and Nash the chance to be irreverant and cocky like so many have wanted. And HBK (and Nash) would make a good mouthpiece who could probably step into the ring for an 8 man tag match. In matches he could play the role of the coward who doesn't want to get in the match unless the opponent is down. HBK could come in for a few stomps and then tag out.

In regards to the topic, I know that HBK is essentially a gimp and can't wrestle.  Many fans do not even care about his hot pants wearing self.  My question:  why does Vince continue to pay him?  Every single WWF superstar, including the ME's, have out clauses in their contracts.  Vince is too smart not to insert them.  If the front office can't count on HBK, and Shawn has repeatedly stated that his number one concern is Nitro Girl Whisper and their kid, then why continue to pay his ass?

I think the whole DX mystique was killed 1) when X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws joined, then 2) when they reunited. I certainly don't want to see them ever again. Their whole gimmick was that they had "attitude" and did crotch chops, which, frankly, is so four years ago.

 

I loved HBK, but I think he should just enjoy his retirement, his new family, and his weekly paycheck from the WWF.

Enough with bringing back old faces. That's what killed WCW (more of less) and it will end up killing the Fed, too. They should concentrate on the tried-and-true superstars they've already established and shore up the foundation with the new guys they have coming in. That's what will keep the Fed viable for the next decade... not the Hogan Lovefest, not the decaying nWold, not recycled gimmicks and meat wrestlers (Godfather, Goldust, Bossman, Perfect... yeah, I know everyone loves him but to me his time's past), and certainly not bringing backa once-vital-but-now- damaged backstage manipulator who you just know is chomping at the bit to rejoin his Kliq buddies and start causing trouble again.
