FigureFourTapes 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 The WWE hasn't been the same since they bought the WCW. It seems nothing has gone right for them, whether it be losing the WWF name, having Steve Austin walk out on them, and just boning up the WCW InVasion angle. Vince McMahon sat in his office on a warm Tuesday mourning in Stamford, pondering what he could do to help his falling federation. He looked at his reflection and felt the feeling he had felt in his gut in 1996, his company was slipping from his hands. He needed a solution, yet he didn't know what that solution was. He felt deep down he knew it, but he didn't want to make contact with that man. He knew if he contacted the man he was thinking of, he may not come and if there is one thing Vince McMahon hates it being embrassed. But did he have a choice? He called his secretary and asked for the mans number. Hours passed, has Vince pondered on what he should do. He looked at his phone and jerked up, and quickly dialed the number, and in the voice that only one man has he left this message: "Hello Bill, it's Vince McMahon. I'm calling to inform you that I'm looking for a man to come and be the creative leader of my locker room. I've thrown your name into the pot and I hope you will be intrested. Call me back at (Titan Towers phone number) and we'll talk about the job." Part 2 to come later.
FigureFourTapes 0 Report post Posted September 22, 2003 (edited) He'd been in the business for years. He couldn't believe he was getting offered a job from the biggest company in the world however. And it wasn't just a job, it was the head creative position. Bill Watts and Vince McMahon, the two didn't exactly go together but Bill was now the man behind the madness in the WWE. He quickly called Vince and they talked for hours, with Bill getting the job. He was now sitting in an airport, getting ready to head to Hershey, Pennsylvania to watch the PPV Unforgiven. After this month, he was in charge of the WWE, and he decided how everything went. RAW was to be preempted the next two weeks due to Spike TV getting coverage of the National Poker Championships, but he would have Smackdown! to book as well. He was ready, and he grabbed his bag and quickly boarded the plane. He also wondered how certain wrestlers would act towards him, has he quickly ended all creative control clauses. Smackdown! Preview for 10/2/03............. Brock Lesnar, the WWE champion, will be in attendance. After beating Kurt Angle two weeks ago, he will make his first title defense aganist Zach Gowen. After weeks of beating the one legged man, Brock will face him in a one-on-one matchup. John Cena has some words for the U.S. champion Eddie Guerrero, these two have been fighting for the last month and I'm sure the white thug wants one more chance. The World's Greatest Tag Team lost their tag straps two weeks ago to Los Guerreros, they get a rematch this week. The Big Show will be in action aganist Kurt Angle, has Vince McMahon has promised the demise of the Olympic Champion and it will start this week on Smackdown! And finally, the Crusierweight title will be on the line has Rey Mysterio, Jr. takes on the Ultimo Dragon. These two have faced off many times, who will get the better this time?
