Guest Report post Posted April 4, 2002 As We Seen on Raw with the Return of Eddie Guerrero, the WWF is willing to bring back people they fired or released. Which begs a interesting question. Who would you want to see back in the WWF and for God Sakes Why? Any easy list of Names of Recent Firings/Releases Brian Christopher Chyna K-Kwik Road Dogg Jerry Lynn Kaz Hayashi etc.. With people like Lynn or Hayashi, or even K Kwik, the WWF could justify their rehiring for the purposes of building up their Rumored Cruiserweight Division. Road Dogg, a mid level wrestler, and always a semi decent tag team partner in a pinch. In your opinion, who would you think be able to come back to the WWF or who do you think the WWF wouldn't hire back even if their Promotion Depended upon it? Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 4, 2002 Out of the people you listed: No one I can't honestly think of anyone else.
Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted April 4, 2002 there should be a none of the above option, I mean who honestly wants to see Chyna again
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 4, 2002 We want Priiiiime Tiiiime back! Did you know he built this house?
Guest Report post Posted April 4, 2002 The Tag division is so ghastly right now I actually wouldn't mind seeing "Grand Master Lawler" come back to reform Too Cool. I can't believe what I'm saying, the tag division can't be this bad can it? Can it?
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted April 4, 2002 I will say "Primetime" Elix Skipper. He was awesome and hilarious. That is the only person I want to see back under WWF contract.
Guest Cataclysm911 Report post Posted April 4, 2002 I wouldn't mind seeing Jerry Lynn or Jeff Jarrett come back. I know that I want to see Scott Steiner come back. He isn't the best wrestler, but he could always "snap" from Roid Rage and kill someone. There are several people who were in ECW that I would like to see brought in however. Such as: Little Guido, Steve Corino, Nova, & C.W. Anderson. Kid Kash & Eazy Money would be nice too. Of course, not everyone is going to agree with me, especially about C.W. Guest Nater Report post Posted April 4, 2002 Jarret and Konan! lol.. ill pay their salary if Vince hires them even
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted April 4, 2002 Elix Skipper definitely. I was so disappointed when I read WWF released him. He is an incredible talent. I think K-Kwik was screwed royally by WWF. I think the kid had talent and was a unique find. I can't think of anyone else I would really like to see in WWf who is not there.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted April 4, 2002 Skipper was really great, not so impressed with K-Kwick. Although being paired with Road Drugg probably didn't help him.
Guest Report post Posted April 4, 2002 There are a few people I would like to see back in the WWF. Jeff Jarrett because I think the WWF are trying to screw him somthing rotten cause he got one over on them. Bam Bam Bigelow & Gangrel. I know they aren't that great but they would make a decent addition to the hardcore division. In fact the hardcore division seems to be the home of misused talent. Guys like Raven & Tommy Dreamer. And Jerry Lynn & "Primetime" if the WWF are serious about re-launcing the cruiserweight division.
Guest Report post Posted April 4, 2002 Jeff Jarrett (Duh) Could definatly get over as a Top Main Eventer (If people are willing to work with him) Elix Skipper and K Kwick always impressed me. I can see Brian Christopher on his way back, especially after Albert turning on Scotty. Roaddog - Can't See It(But I thought that about Goldust and Perfect) the guy is shit in the ring, and his Schtik is tired I'd also sign up Alex Wright. I think he is a very underated wrestler. Guest The Vanilla Midget Report post Posted April 4, 2002 jerry lynn, and thats it really although it would be cool to see HBK back, and while he isnt released, hes about as close as you can get to it while still being on the payroll
Guest The Fett Report post Posted April 4, 2002 Kaz Hayashi and Elix Skipper should be re-hired.
Guest gthureson Report post Posted April 4, 2002 Well, if Jake could stay clean and sober and get into respectable shape....I'd love for him to have some kind of on screen role. Jake was my favorite in the Hulkamania days...I'd mark out for him now as long as he was sober and didn't need to wear that vest to hide the extra fifty pounds he has packed on. But the chances of that are pretty slim....so nobody.
Guest papacita Report post Posted April 4, 2002 there should be a none of the above option, I mean who honestly wants to see Chyna again I'd like to see Chyna again!!!!! Maybe Brian Christopher and Jerry Lynn too, but definitely Chyna. (I know I'm catching heat for that one. lol)
Guest nl5xsk1 Report post Posted April 4, 2002 He wasn't fired per se, but I'd mark out if Shane Douglas came back ... put him on Raw, because we all know how well he gets along with both Flair and the various members of the Kliq. I know he kind of sucks as a wrestler, but he's one of the few people who's willing to be a straight-up heel, not a "cool" heel like the NWO or Shan-o-mac (I can't believe I actually frigging called him that). He could make a surprise appearance, win the Hardcore belt, and kind-of reenact the formation of the ECW title ... he'd throw down the HC belt, and cut a promo saying that's not hardcore, it's just a worthless piece of shit, just like the fans of the wwf. The next week he comes out with the old ECW title, and he and Paul E. (and Dreamer) can start booking some real hardcore matches. It'd at least give some direction to people like Bubba Ray, and Raven, and Dreamer. And in time, they could just feed Douglas to Lesnar as the first (semi) big name that Brock squashes. Guest TheMikeSC Report post Posted April 4, 2002 Elix Skipper definitely. I was so disappointed when I read WWF released him. He is an incredible talent.>>> Whew.Thought I was the only one who friggin' loved the guy's work. At the end of WCW, Elix was a top-notch worker---not just a spot machine. It's a shame nobody saw Greed because his CW Tag Title Tourny Final was an absolutely amazing match. Add in solid mic skills and his release ALWAYS seemed odd to me. <<<I think K-Kwik was screwed royally by WWF. I think the kid had talent and was a unique find.>>> Kwik was sloppy (I remember one match with Test where he tried to do the ending sequence three straight times and blew it every single time---WWF had to edit that match heavily) and, I understand, he wanted out of his deal to pursue a career in rap or something. Yes, his start with Road Dogg did him no favors, but his work was just really darned sloppy. <<<I can't think of anyone else I would really like to see in WWf who is not there. >>> Well, I'd like to see Dino Bravo, just to see if my opinion that Bossman has less heat than a dead man is correct. -=Mike ...It's just a theory, folks. Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted April 4, 2002 Jeff Jarrett is the only wrestler I would really want to comeback. He is also the only wrestler, out of all the ones you listed, who could draw a dime.
Guest TheMikeSC Report post Posted April 4, 2002 Jeff Jarrett (Duh) Could definatly get over as a Top Main Eventer (If people are willing to work with him)>>> He wasn't too over in WCW. WWF worked long and hard to get him some heat in his last stint there and it took them well over a year to pull it off. JJ is NOT a top guy. He's not even close. <<<Elix Skipper and K Kwick always impressed me.>>> I agree on Skipper, but not Kwick. <<<I can see Brian Christopher on his way back, especially after Albert turning on Scotty.>>> Oh God, not Too Cool again. <<<Roaddog - Can't See It(But I thought that about Goldust and Perfect) the guy is shit in the ring, and his Schtik is tired >>> The guy is "shit" in the ring? You mean he's improved? :-) <<<I'd also sign up Alex Wright. I think he is a very underated wrestler. >>> Much to my surprise, ditto. A very solid worker and one whose name never gets mentioned. -=Mike
Guest TheMikeSC Report post Posted April 4, 2002 Jeff Jarrett is the only wrestler I would really want to comeback. He is also the only wrestler, out of all the ones you listed, who could draw a dime. Um, if he can draw a dime, why didn't he? He looked out of place being a top heel in WCW---when WCW was going out of business. The man is a mid-carder---and unless he suddenly re-learned how to work after his horrible WCW stint, he's of precious little use. -=Mike ...Slapnuts was a crappy catchphrase. Guest RetroRob215 Report post Posted April 4, 2002 IIRC, Jarrett was over as a heel in WCW. I only watched Nitro once or twice during the time he was there, but I remember seeing a lot of "Slapnuts" t-shirts in the crowd. And yes, that was a lame catchphrase. I also thought he was good in the WWF. He was a very good mid-carder who was able to generate enough heat to put good matches and storylines. Jarrett may not of drawn a lot of money, but he drew more than the guys that the original post listed. K-Kwick, Jerry Lynn, Brian Christopher...
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted April 4, 2002 I would love to see RVD vs. Jerry Lynn once again and it sucks that the only match they had while both in the WWF ws so short. Jeff Jarrett would be a good choice to bring back but it will probably never happen. Jarrett is probably the most talented "free agent" out there IMO. Guest y2jailbait Report post Posted April 5, 2002 Okay, Im a Road Dogg Mark so im gonna defend him for a second............................... 1. At one point in late 1999, he was one of the top five babyfaces in the whole world wrestling federation. 2. His match with chyna at King of the Ring was decent, it wasnt great, but who in the wwf had enough charisma and "Talent" to carry a good match with the heat sucking machine known as chyna? And Jericho doesnt count because he's god, at least from 97 to 99. and 3. Road Dogg carried the most over and successful tag team in wwf history, if you watch most of those New Age Outlaws matches, he was in the ring about 85% of the time, plus he kicks major ass on No Mercy The video game, yeah! You're right, he was over in 99, but he was stale by 2000. The problem is he never changed his gimmick or even his catchphrase, that is why he lost all of his heat. He was still in DX 3 years after DX lost any heat/popularity they had. Not to mention the drug/attitude/personal problems he had.
Guest Report post Posted April 5, 2002 I dig the Shane Douglas ECW Title idea. Him trashing the NWA belt still ranks up there with my favorite moments in wrestling. He's not the best in the ring like the other dude said but he can cut a decent promo, and if given enough mic time could definitly get over as at least a mid-card (Euro,Hardcore) heel. I don't really know what kind of shape he's in now, I heard he's slowed down a bit but I'd still like to see Sabu in the Cruiser, and Hardcore divisions. As far as fired guys go I'd go with Lawler. He's got some potential if he develops further. Wouldn't want to see "Too Cool" reform would rather like to see him come back with a bad attitude, and tag with maybe Albert in a fued against Scotty..or something.. Jeff Jarett has been able to get over as a heel before, and I think he could do it again.
Guest Report post Posted April 5, 2002 I was a Road Dogg fan, but he really did start to get stale by 2000. He was totally over at WM15, in that 4-way match. I was watching that tape today, and the pop he got when he won was pretty damn big. One of my favorite matches from TV was Road Dogg vs. Al Snow for the hardcore title, where they ended up brawling out into the snow. I always wanted to see some of the old wrestlers rehired, mostly because I didn't watch wrestling before 1999, so the only time I get to see some of these people is on tapes. Here's some people I'd like to see, though I don't think all of them could really make it today's wrestling scene: Road Dogg Macho Man Warrior Give Mr. Perfect a push (You have him, might as well use him for something besides jobbing on Heat) Taka
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted April 8, 2002 (not counting guys who are in HWA or OVW) I'd be very pleased to tune in every week see the following on my TV: Elix Skipper Kaz Hayashi Disco & Alex Wright (separately or as "Boogie Knights") Simon Diamond & Johnny Swinger Allan Funk (but without the Kwee-Wee gimmick) Little Guido & Tony Mamaluke (again, separate or as a team)
Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Report post Posted April 8, 2002 K-Kwik vs RVD would be a pretty odd match to see... all that flipping and rolling with the hey hey hey.... Little Guido and Tony Mamaluke would really help the tag division i think...but they might be a little too small...
