What is wrong with my Beyond Re-Animator?

The sound is perfect, but the picture is all screwed up. It's in black and white, there are little lines all over it, there is a gray bar at the bottom of it sorta, and it's split up so that I see the same thing three times on the screen.

 

It's...rather odd.

Yeah, I figured as such.

 

I was just hoping that it could be fixed, as I've really been wanting to watch that movie.

 

Was it ever in theaters (obvious a limited release if it was) or is it on DVD yet? I'd just go buy it if I knew if I could do so. I already own the first two.
