Guest razazteca Report post Posted April 6, 2002 HEB Central Market, its a regional Texas grocery store that put Albertsons out of business in San Antinio!!!! It has the largest selection of beers from around the world and has a gourmet deli for every type of ethnic food available. The smaller HEB stores have a great bakery with local breads only availble at its store plus nice weekly deals at the butcher and meat sections.

Guest crandamaniac Report post Posted April 11, 2002 I would have said Wal-mart for the same reason that treble said loeb for, but the wally world i work at isn't a super center, so i won't. Therefore my choice would have to be Food Lion, being that they're the only grocery store in my whole county. Ingles. i think theyre only in the carolinas but the place is great. I don't know if i've seen an Ingles up here, must be different part of the carolinas then what i'm in

Guest alfdogg Report post Posted April 15, 2002 Call me stupid, but I didn't know that there were any grocery store chains that were nationally recognized other than Kroger. At least not in Indiana. I didn't really think of Wal-Mart as a grocery store, but now that I think of it, they do have a lot of snack stuff there.
Guest alfdogg Report post Posted April 15, 2002 And Marsh, too, I forgot about them.
Guest alfdogg Report post Posted April 15, 2002 The only bad thing about my Kroger chain is that they don't carry Tato Skins chips. So instead of going to my nearest Kroger chain store (they're called Pay Less where I live) which is in walking range, actually, I have to take the ten-minute drive to Meijer. I didn't really think of Wal-Mart as a grocery store, but now that I think of it, they do have a lot of snack stuff there. i dunno about anywhere else, but down here we have wal-mart supercenters, which are basically wal-marts with a grocery store attached on them

Guest Jericholic82 Report post Posted April 22, 2002 I live in California. The best place here is Albertson's I think. Ralph's is too expensive at times. I also like Sam's Club cuz it has lots of everything

Guest imajackoff? Report post Posted April 29, 2002 The Super Fresh near my casa kicks much BUTT. It's open 24/7 and it has self-service registers. There is something glorious about doing all your shopping and having no human contact.

Guest Report post Posted May 2, 2002 Wegman's is the bomb because of the food court but it's high end so it's an expensive grocery store. I also like the Giant Food in Morrisville, PA... it's close to where I work but since it's in PA and not NJ I can get some good food (like rib patties) that they don't sell in NJ. When I did Disney College Program the Walmart in Kissimmee rocked the casa for everything. But my favorite is the A & P
