GoldDust in 1996

When GoldDust 1st started going "gay" in early - mid 1996 did anyone else's local TV station (Syndicated Superstars TV show) ban him from the air waves?

 

Here in Green Bay, Gold Dust was banned from interviews, and in ring, and it wasn't until the day after KOR 96 (in Milwaukee) when GoldDust made a personal appearence in the Station Manager's office, that we here in GB had the previlege of seeing him, in all his glory...

 

Dok Hendrix even did a drop in spot on the Weekly Show, telling us fans in GB what was up...

 

So anything like this happen elsewhere?
