Guest Choken One Report post Posted September 30, 2003 Why is that Puro People such as yourself label matches by Dates? You seem to sprout off 3/21/95 and instantly connect it to something... However in N. American wrestling it's directly refered to such as "Benoit/Angle. RR03" and not "1/19/03". Why is this?
Guest RickyChosyu Report post Posted September 30, 2003 There aren't as many events (like, say, WWE Pay Per Views) with their own unique names. It's easier to say 6/3/94 than recall the name of the event that it took place on.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted September 30, 2003 but weren't there OTHER matches? How can you instantly know it's ONE particular match? Unless those shows are all ONE MATCH SHOWS (such as RR03)...
Guest Doyo Report post Posted September 30, 2003 6/03/94 Misawa vs. Kawada is viewed as the best match ever by many, so that one gets thrown around a lot by just mentioning the date. Most of the time though the names of the wrestlers involved in the match will be mentioned and not just the date.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted September 30, 2003 I see...Yeah I still need to see the whole thing...All i've gotten is like 7 minutes of grainy footage... I just wish I could find puro with Subtitles...as a Hearing Impaired person it becomes habit to watch N.American wrestling with the C.C but Usually I can't stand watching Puro because The announcing it unbearble and not understandable...
