The studio version of the Staiway solo is good, but nowhere near #1. The live version from 'The Song Remains the Same' is far superior, and could be well considered for a top 10, even top 5 placing. The man has no soul when he plays, and he's actually incredibly sloppy (considering the style of rock Zeppelin is wasn't meant to be sloppy, that's bad). Report post Posted October 6, 2003 I was wondering why Gary Moore isn't included in the list, maybe I'm still experimenting blues and guitar rock music, and may not have come across better stuff. I have listened to some of his stuff and find him pretty good. 2 of my favs are The Loner and Blues For Narada.
