WWF IC Champion Bret Hart defeated the Warlord

Looking at this show reminds me again just how unusual of a time period it was for the then WWF.

It was classic 80's stars like Jimmy Snuka, Greg Valentine, Ricky Steamboat, Ted Dibiase, Roddy Piper and Jake Roberts fading into the sunset while feuding with over the top gimmick wrestlers like Skinner, The Berzerker, Typhoon, The Mountie and other "cartoon" characters.

Being a huge mark for WWF wrestlers from 1982-1989 it was kind strage seeing "heros" of my youth feuding with cartoon characters. No wonder this was about the time I started to lose interest with the WWF at that time.

I'm pretty sure that the venue for this event was Boston Garden. I remember an article from WWF magazine entitled "Farewell to the Garden," which covered the event, since it was the last one to be held there.
