Guest JericholicEdgeHead Report post Posted October 5, 2003 WWF @ Long Island, NY - Nassau Coliseum - October 5, 1991 Jimmy Snuka defeated Bob Bradley The Bezerker defeated Greg Valentine Ricky Steamboat pinned Skinner The Beverly Brothers defeated the Bushwhackers IRS pinned Jim Neidhart by using the ropes for leverage Ted Dibiase defeated Million $ Champion Virgil via count-out WWF IC Champion Bret Hart defeated the Warlord Sid Justice defeated Jake Roberts via disqualification when Roberts brought his snake into the ring Looking at this show reminds me again just how unusual of a time period it was for the then WWF. It was classic 80's stars like Jimmy Snuka, Greg Valentine, Ricky Steamboat, Ted Dibiase, Roddy Piper and Jake Roberts fading into the sunset while feuding with over the top gimmick wrestlers like Skinner, The Berzerker, Typhoon, The Mountie and other "cartoon" characters. Being a huge mark for WWF wrestlers from 1982-1989 it was kind strage seeing "heros" of my youth feuding with cartoon characters. No wonder this was about the time I started to lose interest with the WWF at that time.
