Saturday Night Live Season Premier

I didn't see a thread about this, so I figured I would start one... the season opener was hosted by Jack Black and I had high expectations for this one

 

and it was a complete letdown. I think I only laughed a total of 5 times during the entire show. The funniest sketch was obviously the second to last wine critic sketch, and the weekend update Bill Cosby/Wanda Sikes bit was humerous... but everything else pretty much sucked.

and what happened to the Rock? wasn't he supposed to host?

Thumps down. This was a case of the host being so funny the writers didn't seem to put forth any effort on the skits.

The Yankee cartoon was hilarious.
