Guest Shawn Report post Posted April 5, 2002 In at least HHH/Hogan I think he will. I wonder who will be pushed as the top face though...
Guest Austin3164life Report post Posted April 5, 2002 Triple H wont be heel. He's just so INTENSE and POPULAR. He is the GAAAAME. Man he is so intense.....
Guest Report post Posted April 5, 2002 In at least HHH/Hogan I think he will. I wonder who will be pushed as the top face though... This is GREAT HHH is at his best when he's an evil, i dont f'in care, heel. Lets see if WWF does it well.
Guest Report post Posted April 5, 2002 Anybody in the ring right now is a heel vs Hogan.
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted April 5, 2002 You know, if this match happened two years ago, it would be a lock ***. Why? Because HHH would make Hogan look like god, and would just be a badass heel. Plus, he worked harder.
Guest Shawn Report post Posted April 5, 2002 I LOVED hating HHH's heel run with the title and I'm up for another run. This face HHH crap just isn't flying with me. Yes everyone is heel when going against Hogan but I really see HHH going heel now. The only thing that doesn't fit is him vs. Taker. Maybe he'll get over as putting Taker down and becoming the new top heel or just cementing his place. (not saying that Taker is the top heel at all... despite his pushes) Who do you think will be pushed as mega face? I'd pick someone but I can't remember who's on the SD roster... Guest The Fett Report post Posted April 5, 2002 HHH is will proabably play the heel role in this feud and then go back to being face once the feud is over. There's not much he can do right now to get the fans behind him when he's facing Hogan.
Guest Shawn Report post Posted April 5, 2002 I sure hope he doesn't. Why waste the HUGE heat he can get from this. I could almosy hear the fans booing when he got into Hogan's face.
Guest Shaved Bear Report post Posted April 5, 2002 but the fans arent gonna be over hogan for more than a month or so, because nostalgia gets over short-term, look, when the nWo came in everyone was all hot to trot, now they're just lost in the mix seemingly
Guest Report post Posted April 5, 2002 Well, the NWO was hailed as a threat. The fans expected that, but after Austin embarassed them show after show and they lost Hogan, what do they have to go on? Their momentum was killed before they could really get over the way they were intended to.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 5, 2002 The fans expected that, but after Austin embarassed them show after show Well, maybe that taught Scott Hall to THINK before he does his shit. The First Smackdown was Hall's punishment for when he was acting like an ass backstage on his FIRST DAY, and Wrestlemania was for showing up Hung over. Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted April 5, 2002 When I was first watching WWF last year, around the time of "No Way Out" and later the Two Man Power trip, I hated HHH because "he's such an asshole and does all these evil things to people for no reason". I later turned semi-smark and found out that this was due to him being a good heel. As a face he sucks, he's so boring, and the only reason anyone gave him a pop was because he ditched Stephanie. Going against Hogan when Hogan still has nostalgia-heat is good, because it will cement him as a heel again, but it's bad because it just makes the face-turn look even more botched, plus it'll probably mean the return of Stephanie. Guest Nater Report post Posted April 5, 2002 HHH is no good as a Face unless hes against somebody that can carry him. Propaganda!! Why not have him fight somebody like Hall or X-Pacc.. make the money worthwhile? He could face Angle.. Again. He could go against Jericho (face/heel switch).. No. Pass on Kane. Booker? Benoit (heel)? Guest Brian Report post Posted April 5, 2002 HHH turns and joins the NWO.
Guest Tony149 Report post Posted April 5, 2002 I agree on Brian on this one. If the WWF goes through with HHH/Hogan I see the nWo costing Hogan the match as "payback" for him leaving. If the WWF wants they could do a angle where HHH takes a big boot from Hogan, HHH goes over the top rope, HHH claims he hurt his leg, the ref checks on him outside the ring with his back turned against the ring, then the nWo make their run-in, attack Hogan, The Rock comes out with a chair and runs off the nWo. HHH doesn't see a thing, gets back to the ring and pins Hogan. On Smackdown have HHH do the whole 1980s babyface bit, as he says he doesn't want to win that way and he'll give Hogan a rematch. Then on Smackdown or at Judgment Day have a 6-Man with HHH, Hogan & The Rock vs. the nWo. You turn HHH heel during the match. You could do Hogan/HHH 2 at KOTR. Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted April 5, 2002 I expect Nash will be trying to get HHH into the nWo to save his sorry ass from dropping into the midcard. I don't know if HHH will want to be part of a stable as he'll have to share his INTENSITY, but I wouldn't be surprised if HHH pulls out an nWo shirt at Backlash. Guest Brian Report post Posted April 5, 2002 Well, it's not something that probably should happen, because I think that the big three and a few upper mid-carders should go over Hogan squeaky clean, but the chances of that happening aren't all that great and Hogan probably has someone's ear in the booking team by now. Guest notJames Report post Posted April 5, 2002 Having HHH join the nWold and feud with Rock and Hogan would just negate the rule about the rosters crossing "brands". And you know how much the Fed likes to stick to their rules... Regardless, I don't want anything to give the Kliq anymore exposure than they already have. Throwing HHH in the mix would just ensure more airtime to those idiots, and the last thing we need is more fuel for X-pac's delusions of grandeur. Besides, how much more do we need to see Nash (sans Kung-Fu grip) standing ringside flipping his hair?
Guest mastermind Report post Posted April 8, 2002 Well, the insider news up here has stated that it is in the air that Trips might defect to the nWo. HOWEVER, this depends on Triple H wanting to do it.
Guest KOR420 Report post Posted April 8, 2002 I think He'll go heel at Backlash,he could be the heel everyone wanted him to be all along, plus make the nWo actual poison
Guest JAxlMorrison Report post Posted April 8, 2002 I personally don't want to see Hunter join the NWO. Of course, it would be mark out time if HBK also joined and they just switched to being the Kliq, but that wouldn't last. At the very least, they shouldn't just hot shot the heel turn and have him join this soon. Just give me my HHH-Hall Ladder match main event on PPV soon, then you can do the turn.
