Guest Goodear Report post Posted October 7, 2003 Howdy yawl, Feedback me here regarding that Friday the 13th review I just posted on the site last night and is already halfway down the main page. EXCERPT!!! Anyway, we head out to the road to see Creepy Steve hit on a really ugly waitress before heading back out to the rain and his jeep. Did I mention that they are playing Steve up as a red herring by putting him in flannel (the same clothes we glimpse of the killer) and driving around in a jeep (just like the one the killer drove)? Yeah, it’s a red hearing folks. Creepy Steve might be creepy but he is still good people. Not like Brenda who quit the game of strip monopoly and must now PAY WITH HER LIFE! DEATH SEVEN! Brenda was setting up the archery range earlier. FORESHADOWING? Yes. DEATH STARS: ** Killer has the AIM. Do have any idea how hard it is to shoot an arrow strait and into a half-naked camper from 50 feet? You need the skills. Mad skills. Bad skills. But we are robbed of the visual and only get a scream from Brenda off camera. I’m sure she’ll pop up again in the body bonanza that happens at the end of these early movies. Speaking of the body finding bonanza, Bill and Alice finally leave to go look for all their buddies/bodies that have been getting knocked off for an hour now. They start off finding a bloody axe in someone’s bed and … get this… keep looking! And that is just party of the fun! WHEEEEEE! Feed me back.
Guest Black Tiger Report post Posted October 7, 2003 Good article bro, it would have been a semi clever twist to see Steve as the killer. He spends 25,000 bucks all just to kill six horny kids. Steve's character was pretty creepy, I don't know about you but I was getting the idea he was sleeping with Alice or something. BTW, Crazy Ralph rules and he should never have been killed off. Guest Goodear Report post Posted October 7, 2003 Steve was trying to hit that, but I got the impression that Alice was all about the Bill. Poor Steve.... he has the money, he has the cutoff jeans, the porno mustache... yet still he has no women. Pitty poor Creepy Steve. Granted its hard to look back on these things many years later and try to figure out the potential swerves when you know what is coming, but this seems like a good attempt. Although they did a better job in Part 5 (I think) of casting doubt on Tommy. Crazy Ralph cracked me up cause I kept having flashbacks to The Mummy Returns with the scene with the three idiot henchmen... "THAT'S CUUUUUURSED! YOU'RE CUUUUUUUURSED!" Eye Ball Able and the Deck Hand of Doom just didn't have the same pinache of Ralphie.
