Guest Laichzeit Posted April 5, 2002 Report Posted April 5, 2002 The largest burger I've ever eaten is the Andy's Octaburger(Andy's is a local hamburger chain in NC). That's eight Andy's size cheeseburgers stacked on top of each other. Now to truly get a feel for the size of this monstrosity, let me explain. Each Andy's cheeseburger weighs roughly 1/3 lb(cooked), and gets two slices of 2x2 in. cheese slices. That would put the octaburger at about 2 and 2/3 lbs. of beef. After my friends and I put down the Andy's decaburger, we plan to travel to Clearwater, Pennsylvania, where I hear a local tavern sells a 6 pound burger. The burger equivalent of The Ole '96er. Unless someone knows of a bigger burger somewhere else. . . . .
Guest Shaved Bear Posted April 5, 2002 Report Posted April 5, 2002 holy crap, your heart hasnt exploded yet!!!! the biggest i ever did was take 3 classic triples and combine them into one burger...its kinda cheating but who cares
Guest Tyr Posted April 5, 2002 Report Posted April 5, 2002 The pub with the six pound burger is Denny's Beer Barrel and Pub I believe. It is in Clearfield PA. They also serve a 2 pound and a 3 pound burgers as well. No one has ever eaten the 6 pound.
Guest Laichzeit Posted April 6, 2002 Report Posted April 6, 2002 If I were to be the first to eat it, do you think they would let me name it?
Guest razazteca Posted April 6, 2002 Report Posted April 6, 2002 I witness a friend eat a 5 patty burger from a local burger corner store. I guess it weighed just under 2 lbs.
