Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Daniels gets the win following the Angel's Wings.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Kazarian whips Daniels into one of his followers who was on the apron, and hits his finisher, but Daniels gets his foot on the ropes, and nearly costs him the match again. Kazarian goes to run off the ropes, but whichever disciple hooks the feet and he gets distracted which leads to the Angel's Wings (?) I'm blanking on finisher names tonight - the spinout pedigree. After the match he says it's obvious the disciples do him no good "and that it's time for me to call on my brothers." Eh.. Kazarian sucks. Raven promo, in which I believe he told the Gathering to stay out of his match tonight, he needs to do it alone.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Good power wrestling from TNA = Malice. Typical HOSSES = Red Shirts. There's a difference. Malice can move, Red Shirts can't. Well, Daniels/Kazarian was about what I expected, with Daniels completely carrying that uncharismatic fuck Antonio Bandarian to a watchable match. And now, we get ready for some solid action. AMW vs. Kash/Abyss.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Good match with good heat. AMW picks up the win after Storm hits the superkick into the chair into Abyss' face. After the match Kash shoves Abyss in frustration, then slaps him, and Abyss raises his hand as if he's going to chokeslam him, and Kash shoves him around telling him to do it, Abyss looks like he's going to leave but then returns.. Kash turns around.. pokes him a few times, shoves him, and Abyss finally slaps him back! Goes for the chokeslam but Kash lowblows him, Abyss fires back, tosses him across the ring, whips him off the ropes, huge back body drop which was nearly botched, whips him again but Kash slides out of the ring. Good turn.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Sinn/Raven is up.. We'll see how good at carrying Raven is, as from what I've seen of Sinn he's been less than impressive.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Raven came out wearing a dog collar with a giant chain which he used to pummel Sinn with, and now Sinn's wearing the crimson mask. Hey, if it can't be good, it should at least be bloody. Right?! Anyways.. why the hell is Mitchell wearing a purple suit this week?
Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Raven picks up the win following the Raven Effect. Raven fights off the New Church, but Vampiro runs in and hits a DDT on Raven.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Evenflow for the win, a total squash. Hangs Sinn with the collar from the top rope until Mitchell breaks it up.. Mitchell cowers in fear until Slash comes out for the save. Raven nails him with a superkick, and trips up Slash with it.. now he's whipping him with it. Ouch. He grabs Mitchell until Vampiro comes out and nails him with a DDT. Slash ties to collar around Raven's neck, and they drag him through the crowd.. They're hanging him from the balcony, and due to Raven's wishes, the Gathering haven't come to save him yet.. CM Punk finally shows up, along with Julio. Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 3 Hour PPV Spectacular is officially called : "Bound For Glory". Piper's asked to make a statement next week, and "TNA officials are thinking that through." There's going to be a statement on the TNA site to tell us later. Russo just finally showed up. Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted October 9, 2003 There's the official announcement for the 3-hour PPV, called "Bound For Glory." Kid Kash vs. Abyss next week.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Russo's "drunk".. apparently.. and hilarity is obviously going to ensue~! AJ/Rhodes is up next.. why the hell are they giving this match so much time?! Dusty blows up after 2 minutes, and he sucks. Sigh.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Well... Dusty/AJ was about as everyone expected.. Dusty's bloody, of course. ...sigh. Don West: "Somebody get this drunk ass out of my face~!" That about sums up this match so far. This chinlock on Dusty have been going on _forever_.
Guest TNAPhillip Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Just got in and from the sounds of it the only major thing that has gone down is that they named the PPV. Should I get the replay or not?
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 No. Tonight's show is about on par with Raw in the boredom factor.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Just got in and from the sounds of it the only major thing that has gone down is that they named the PPV. Should I get the replay or not? Nah.. it was decent, in my opinion, but I wouldn't waste ten bucks on it. No better than previous weeks really. I've yet to see what's so great about Dutch Mantel..
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 I don't even think Mantel's gotten control yet... WHY DOES STYLES NEED A BAT TO TAKE OUT AN OLD MAN THAT CAN BARELY MOVE?!
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Russo tells AJ to go up top, but AJ knows better because his leg is too injured.. Locks in the figure four, holds the ropes for extra leverage, and Dusty passes out to the three count. ...well, Russo's a horrible actor.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 WHY DOES STYLES NEED A BAT TO TAKE OUT AN OLD MAN THAT CAN BARELY MOVE?! Yeah.. exactly. In a perfect world, AJ would have squashed him in under two minutes. Actually, in a perfect world, AJ Styles wouldn't even have to face Dusty Rhodes.
Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Who the hell booked Styles to tap out to Rhodes while the ref was out? That doesn't help Styles at all.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 This is so fucking horrible. Let it end. Please. AMW make the save. Sigh.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Who the hell booked Styles to tap out to Rhodes while the ref was out? That doesn't help Styles at all. Yeah; that may put his reign as champion over Jericho's for weakest reign. Russo tells them to "take off his pants" [Rhodes] Stone Cold Jeff Jarrett makes the save. Whoopty-fucking-do.
Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Jarrett makes the save AGAIN. I'm starting to get a little sick and tired of Jarrett being booked to look like fuckin' Superman. Wait, scratch that. Superman actually had a weakness.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 ...announced for next week is Rhodes/AMW -v- Siaki/Ekmo/Russo ...FUCK OFF.
Guest TNAPhillip Report post Posted October 9, 2003 This show, from what you all are saying, is nothing short of awful. Aj had to have help to beat Dusty? That makes no sense what so ever. *Shakes head* glad I decided to watch the MLB playoffs tonight.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Wow...next week sounds like it just might be the first TNA show I skip...
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 They'd better make a severe turnaround.. Agreed, next week's also sounds like crap. Once again I'll be tuning in.. hopefully Kash/Abyss will be good, and they'll churn out a good X Division match. I really hope Shane loses that title soon... Guest TNAPhillip Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Not watching tonight so why is that next week sounds so bad? Might help me save $10 next week
Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted October 9, 2003 This show, from what you all are saying, is nothing short of awful. Aj had to have help to beat Dusty? That makes no sense what so ever. *Shakes head* glad I decided to watch the MLB playoffs tonight. What's worse is that Dusty "had the match won." Styles tapped to a figure-four leglock by Rhodes while the ref was knocked out. Wow...next week sounds like it just might be the first TNA show I skip... Same here. Usually, I tape Smallville (which is where the Jarrett-Superman comparison from my earlier post came from) and watch it after TNA is over. Next week, I might just skip TNA all together. Guest TNAPhillip Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Never watched Smallville but heard great things about it. I just can't wait till 24 starts back on October 28th. And, is it just me, or are the chicks from the O.C. show pretty good looking babes or what? Speaking of Babes, who else misses Tracy, Athena, and Desire in TNA? I know some of you don't like womens wrestling but all of us here I think appriciate good looking women.
Guest BrokenWings Report post Posted October 9, 2003 Since Alexis left, I have no hope for hot babes in TNA. I'd rather they try to present great wrestling at this point.
