I am gonna have to say that my fave American fed is ROH, even though my opinion is hindered that I have seen all of ONE show from CZW, FOUR shows from TNA and NOTHING else from any indy fed. So Ring of Honor is my favourite since I have everything up to Wrestlerave.

Unless SD! has had an awful October (I don't get SD! so I wouldn't know) I don't see how Smackdown! is worse then RAW at all.

The Smackdowns! I saw from September were awesome

I'm also getting into Puro (and oddly enough, since no-one from the Puro Forum wants me banned, I dont bitch and complain in there)

Here's mine ranked in order:

TNA

RoH (would be #1 if I could watch it more often. I'm looking at YOU TOM!!!)

MLW

IWA

RAW

SD

That's the order of interest I have in seeing the shows from week to week (or tape to tape as it is for RoH).

It's a shame SD! sucks.

I watch Raw because I cant bear to Watch Steph

Problem with Indy wrestling as a whole is that its badly produced junk, so Raw and Smackdown are really all there is for me. I got Judgement Day on DVD there on Monday, and entertainment wise, it was more entertaining than the last ROH dvd i got

SD! sucks now? That's a shame. My friend sent me all of September's SD!s and I loved it.

I'll rank it-

1) ROH

2) SD!

3) TNA

4) RAW

I haven't seen any ROH since 8.16, SD! since 9.25 and TNA since the week before WarGames

Smackdowns have been better than RAW I feel.

I honestly don't see how anyone can see RAW as being better than Smackdown. The storylines are mostly pathetic and wouldn't go into the 'entertaining' bracket. The wrestling is awful as well. The two good matches Ive seen from RAW recently have been Rob Van Dam v Christian Ladder and Storm/RVD v Christian/Storm.

For anyone wondering, mines is only a four horse race and is :

1. ROH

2. Smackdown

3. TNA

4. RAW

The thing is, "the best fed in North America" is an opinion, there's no real fact to it.

People can like ROH because of the "strong style" wrestling and the highspots, and that their cards read like the "All Star Series" of wrestling. Not to mention the killer production values (I really dig the lights and new rails, plus they seem to have upgraded their cameras.)

People can say MLW is the best because of their nationwide syndication deal, they have buckets of money, and people enjoy the ECW-style/tribute product they offer, and they do try to innovate (4th Dimension match.)

People can say IWA:MS is the best fed because they put on some of the sickest deathmatches you'll ever see, as well as some of the best pure wrestling you'll ever see. (Hero/Punk, Jacobs/Shelley, and TPI~!)

People can say Wildside is the best product in North America because their booking does an excellent job of crafting storylines and making you care about the wrestlers.

People can say CZW is the best product because they go out of their way to please their fans, and have discovered some of the best talent in the country. They also pioneered the "ultraviolent hardcore" style, which a lot of people love.

People can say PWG is the best product right now because so far they've put on consistently excellent cards, book logically, employ the best workers on the West Coast, and they have a unique approach to the product (wrestling can be *gasp* fun and humourous!)

People can say TNA is the best because they have a PPV deal, a syndicated TV show, and have the X Division as well as big names and "legends."

People can say WWE is the best because they're the only global multi-million dollar company, and let's face it, they do employ the best wrestlers on this side of the ocean.

So it's really all a matter of taste, and what floats your boat.

While WWE's production values are leaps and bounds ahead of ROH- I don't see how a show littered with DUDs is better then whatever ROH DVD you have.

Judgement Day was just an awful show- I bought it just so I could get the free DVD case

Smackdowns have been so bad this month (funny since they are building to a ppv) that it is a new level of bad. RAW still sucks...but at least they aren't wasting as much talent.

That sucks-

Did you enjoy the SDs! in September bps? Because I thought they were terrific.

I am looking forward to seeing Paul's debut though

Me too!

But I have a problem.

One of the shows (Vengeance) didn't have the insert with the proof of purchase on it.

What the hell am I going to do about that?

"TNA since the week before WarGames "

I did ask Dames to save me the tape though- I hope he remembers

They were still putting on good matches then...now it's bad matches that are really short and a LOT of McMAhonamania

Bravesfan had the same problem- I think he's going to call WWE office or something.

I'm a sucker for that DVD case. They could book a show featuring a father and a daughter fighting in the main event and I would still buy it.

Oh wait...

Oh sweet Jesus no.

You're setting yourself up for disappointment. Well, unless your expectations are at rock bottom.

I know what happened to him so I know what I'm getting. Don't worry- I'm not going to go off the deep end like I did when Regal wore drag and wrestled Goldust

SmackDown is so bad I won't even watch it anymore. When the last match of the night is Rey Mysterio vs. Johnny the Bull while Eddie and The Big Show's feud is based on shit (literally) you long for Shane to get his testes electrocuted.

Yea- I enjoyed Eddy v. Cena, both Rey v. Tajiri matches, Angle v. Lesnar and I LOVED Angle v. Taker.

It's a shame they went back down the shitter

You see, usually, my expectations are pretty low, so i go out happy, especially if they stick Stevie Richards and Cade/Jindrak out there

Well I'll find out how bad it has gotten in 3-4 weeks.

I'm seeing No Mercy this Sunday but only cause I won free tickets from the theatre
