Guest swan Report post Posted April 5, 2002 Ever see this movie about the shiek? I think it was from the '70's. It was a B level movie but crazy. Guest swan Report post Posted April 6, 2002 Are there actual matches on that tape? Partial. The tape has parts of real matches but the movie itself is a work, if that makes sense. From what I remember it's about a group of fans in the Detroit based Big Time Wrestling (they were super huge in the 70's) who want to get the Sheik banned because of his hardcore style which was wayyyyyyy ahead of it's time. I don't relly remember much more. For 5 or 6 bucks it might be worth a look for old school fans. I'd like to find a DVD version of it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Guest Mark4steamboat Report post Posted April 6, 2002 From the last time i saw it(about 4 months ago): Its about a rather large group of people that are trying to ban the sheik from wrestling in detroit. with help of radio and television news coverage, they have boycotted Sheiks matches. there are also interviews with some wrestlers however im not sure they are actual wrestlers. it ends weird with the grand wizard and sheik in a car challenging Kowalski i believe to a match on top of some building(cant think of it off the top of my head) i doubt i will recommend this b/c it is just plain awful. however if youre into cheesy 70s/early 80s movies, by all means track this tape down.
