Watch me explode! *promo*

Recommended Posts

Guest 5_moves_of_doom

Wow, I read deKindes' promo just now and thought it was really good and it reached a quality that I can't believe comes from a newbie (I'm one, and I don't think I can write promos that well.) I decided to write a counter promo anyway though, it's a little thrown together but I thought it was pretty good and hope that you do too. Comments are welcomed and appreciated. Thank you.

***PROMO***

Interviewer Ben Hardy stands outside of a dressing room marked "TNT."

"Hardy (whispering): Hello everyone this is interviewer Ben Hardy attempting to get a word or two with newcomer here in the SJL, Taylor Nicholas Thompson."

Hardy lightly knocks on the door. Singing is coming from the inside but is slightly muffled.

"TNT (inside room singing): You know I'm TNT, I'm dynamite, TNT, win the fight, TNT...."

The door swings open and smashes into Ben Hardy's face. He falls back holding his nose, crying like a schoolgirl for a moment, but soon realizes of the embaressment he is causing himself and hops up in a professional manner, smiling.

"Hardy: Ahem, Mr. TNT I'm not sure if you have heard or not but earlier this evening Tod deKindes, your opponent on Saturday's Crimson had a choice of words for you."

"TNT (with slight enragement in his voice): Yeah, I heard what that German spewing punk had to say about me, and let me just say something Benny boy. Now, I gotta lot of respect for this guy, but I say he's just shootin his mouth off. He's can waltz around sayin "Boosh nutin tutin" or whatever the hell that is, but I gotta say I'm not gonna take one word of that crap! Listen here Tod, you talk about me believing what I feel, and I have to agree, I'm going to believe the pure glee that I feel while I beat you relentlessly in the ring, make you beg for mercy, and then pin you down for the one, two, three.

Because you see deKindo, deKindi, I don't care what your name is because on Saturday when you enter the ring with dynamite, you will simply become the first victim out of many in the SJL. Be warned, this is no bomb scare, on Saturday you will watch me enter the ring, you will watch me get ready to beat the tar out of you, and you......will......WATCH ME EXPLOOOOOOOOOODE!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"Hardy: Thank you TNT for your point of...."

TNT slams the door, crushing Ben Hardy's fingers in the hinges, he screams in anguish and starts crying in a corner

Is your finisher the Exploder (stiff T-Bone Suplex)? Just wondering...

Oh and the promo wasn't bad.

No my finishers are Shell Shocked (an elbow drop) which usually sets the opponent up for Dynamite (a Tiger Driver '92.)

Good stuff, but what did Ben ever do to you? :P

I've heard of a Tiger Suplex '85 and a Tiger Driver '91, but what's the 92 version like?

I think you're mixing '91/'92 up...

Double Underhook Piledriver (fall to knees, not sitout)

My version is sitout... (think Kid Kash)

Tiger suplex '85 is a belly-to-back half nelson sleeper (like a Tazmissionplex)

Millennium Suplex owns all though. (Sick Belly-to-Back Crossface Chicken Wing Suplex.)

I figured by Tiger Driver 92 he meant a regular sit out Tiger Driver like Misawa mostly used in the 90s or even (shrugs) Ahmed Johnson used.

Tiger Driver 91(Like my characters and Misawa's when he is pissed) is not a sitout but drop to knees. The victim is lifted in the air for a Tiger Driver, but is just dropped on his head and shoulders, not his back like a regular Tiger Driver.

So Brody your saying your characters is a double underhook sitout piledriver right. Not a Tiger Driver 91.

A regular Tiger Suplex is a double arm chickenwing belly to back suplex.

Yeah, I'm 90% sure that the Tiger Driver '92 is pretty much the Pearl River Plunge and the Tiger Driver '91 is like a pedigree except more vertical. Wasn't the Tiger Driver '91 what Misawa finished Kawada off with in their most famous of matches in '94 (or maybe '95?) I don't know, all these different Tiger Drivers are screwing with my mind, someone should just look it up and tell us what all the different Tiger Driver's are.

I was talking about my (sitout AKA regular) version of the Double Underhook Piledriver.

Tiger Driver 91 is what Misawa used to finish off Kawada in 6/3/94.

Tiger Driver 92(aka regular Tiger Driver) is pretty much the same as the Pearl River Plunge.

Them are the only Tiger Drivers that have been used.  Though their are similar moves.

Butterfly(aka Double Underhook) Powerbomb-like Regal.

HHH's Pedigree

Butterfly Piledriver

Butterfly Brainbuster-like Butterfly Piledriver except victim is dropped to the side of the user instead of sitout. Taka used this.

"Butterfly Brainbuster" is one of TAKA's Michinoku Drivers (like vers. IIB) and is more like a Double Underhook DDT nowadays.

The Butterfly Piledriver is just a Double Underhook Piledriver, right (Ala Kid Kash's Money Maker)? Should be since Butterfly=Double Underhook.
