Guest Nevermortal Report post Posted April 7, 2002 They should go back to the "Toughman" matches...remember those? I believe Austin/Mankind used to do them on RAW. Stiff ass brawling, but they basically made way for all the main events to be table breaking brawls. As for the hardcore division, they need to make it much more brutal. Blood, Glass, Barbed Wire, etc. They should use Fluorescent lights. They don't cut up people too badly, they don't hurt, and they make a huge *pop* when struck over someone's back, which would pop a crowd. The Hardcore Division really needs a savior. Which is why I have hope for people like Dreamer, Raven, and Buh Buh. If they are allowed to go all out, they'll get over with sheer brutality. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Look at the footage of Jun Kasai (spelling??) at the end of his match in the locker room. That is a result of fluorescent light bulbs. Then tell me they don't cut up people too badly. Oh puhlease everyone knows that WWF would never do real hardcore matches. The only "hardcore" WWF will ever do is that bring garbage to the ring style. As far as the comedy aspect that people brought up. There is no reason that would stop them from throwing in some comedy bits even if they did make it a more serious division.
