Guest Report post Posted April 6, 2002 I'm Six,six and have been within a foot of Undertaker and he's about the same if not shorter. 'Taker is 6'10 BUDDY, for all you morons out there thats... SIX....FOOT....10....INCHES Which means your not taller than him, damn..guess your gonna have to take that off your resume now. This has been the Taker Mark...don't mess with him when it comes to info. on the Taker. Great, I KNOW im gonna take a raw beating for that last remark i just made...REMEMBER im a Taker MARK, thats M..A..R..K, the Deadman tells me he is 6'10, so i believe him...he also told me Santa is real, as is Wrestling , the Easter Bunny and Kurt Angle's penis. So WHAT EVER YOU DO, don't take anything i say personally! From what i know, Taker is a legit 6'7 at least, my cousin has MET HIM and told me he is huge...not to mention my cousin is 6'4. This has been the Taker Mark...marking out.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 6, 2002 oh, and Tazz is 2"8... That's about right.
Guest El Luchadore Magnifico Report post Posted April 6, 2002 (Y) Thanks for missing the entire point of my post and responding with an unwarranted insult, Anglesault. I never said I don't like heavyweights. I don't even know where you got that from. Just because I enjoy cruiser matches doesn't mean that I think "Anyone over 125 lbs and 5'10 SUCKS!", as you so eloquently put it.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted April 6, 2002 Just because I enjoy cruiser matches doesn't mean that I think "Anyone over 125 lbs and 5'10 SUCKS!", as you so eloquently put it. And just because I DON'T enjoy Cruisers, that doesn't make me Icky and make me unable to post in this thread.
Guest Report post Posted April 6, 2002 Rhyno was over 300 for a while, and he was GREAT Smarks (usually) "shit" on 300lb+ guys because they're slow and generally boring. Curisers are great, and they're not all flippy either. Psycosis for one isnt. There's a hell of a lot of bashing on Cruisers that's unnecessary. Alot of people want others to respect this person or that person (*cough* Angle *cough*) but that that same person ( ) virtually shits on all of the people 230 or less. That, to me, is very fucked up.
Guest BobbyBacklund Report post Posted April 6, 2002 I hate most of the bigger guys in North America, like TBS, Kane, or Rikishi. They all suck ass. I like Vader, Bruiser Brody, Stan Hansen, and the Old school UT, from like 1990-1994. His best matches were later but against Mick, HBK, and Bret Hart. So what did you expect? Let us get this topic back on track... I think AJ Styles is good. There you go
Guest Shawn Report post Posted April 6, 2002 I hate most of the bigger guys in North America, like TBS, Kane, or Rikishi. They all suck ass. What the hell? Kane rocks! He's just not pushed like he should. Remember those short 'monster' stints where they finally let him kick ass? Him on the nWo was just a small taste. Maybe you're one of those 'I've been watching for a year so I know what I'm talking about' fans but did you see him when he debuted? He was the toughest bastard in the WWF and his matches were good. Better than the shit being turned out now. I'd rant more but it's probably pointless. I'll just leave it at this: Don't ever compare Kane to fuckin Rikishi. ::Shawn locks BobbyBucklund in the Crossface Chicken Wing... and then his the Suplex::
Guest Report post Posted April 6, 2002 500 a week isnt much for a popular wrestler like him. I wonder how much a good wrestler can bring in? Anyone know?
Guest Rob Van Dam Report post Posted April 7, 2002 AJ Styles is stupid for turning down the contract, right there he turned down 26,000 a year for a developmental contract, they don't do much traveling they usual stay in the area of HWA or OVW. Plus that contract could of easily led into a WWF official roster contract and some pretty big money for a wrestler that was never in the big three (yeah yeah i know he was in wcw at the end for a couple of shows but nobody was watching then, so it doesn't count). If he doesn't take the developmental contract he'll never make it to the wwf and I don't see any company coming along and paying like the WWF does. Nobody knows who the fuck he is. Simple as that, he made a stupid mistake.
Guest teke184 Report post Posted April 7, 2002 The WWF hasn't shown any great enthusiasm to bring up developmental talents to RAW and Smackdown. Right now, it's better for someone to be established somewhere else before coming in (a la RVD) than to be in the WWF system as a developmental talent. The only guys to come up through the WWF system since '99 for their FIRST shot at the big time are Angle, Crash, Stasiak, K-Kwik, Rico, and Lesnar. Stasiak and K-Kwik got canned, Rico and Lesnar have just been put on TV since WM X-8, Crash has been a huge joke since showing up, and Angle went from developmental talent to WWF champion in about a year. Bull Buchanan came out of the WWF developmental system in 2000, but he'd already had a run in the Truth Commission in late 1997. Considering that the WWF developmental system is VAST, it's not a good track record for only 6 guys to be brought up, then for just one of them to have significant success. Guest Downhome Report post Posted April 7, 2002 I don't think we should worry, as I still feel we'll see AJ in the WWF before too long. He's just that kind of guy that it's just a matter of time.
Guest Report post Posted April 7, 2002 Well firstly K Kwik is still getting paid by the WWF, and they are basically waiting for the time to run out. But hell ready made cruiserweight there...could be brought up. Stasiak been tagging with Perfect at House shows and its being said that they will tag on Raw. Though as we said before, kinda pointless to tag on a show with no tag belts. As For AJ Styles. There could be various reasons not to accept the contract. One of the things could simply be Pride. AJ been a Internet Smark "Darling" Because he never stayed in established Promotions for too long and did mostly Indi work. AJ been wrestling as a name talent in Indi's for a few years. Now getting offered a Developement contract to the WWF, Lets break that down here. Thats not, once you sign this contract we got you going against Crash on Smackdown once you sign the Dotted line. Developement Contract is where you are shipped off to HWA and OVW and no one knows what is going on with you outside the Area except JR would might give you a sentance in his Ross Report when he talks about those Amazing talented Developement talent we don't even see till 2 years later. Nova signed the contract, and we won't be seeing him till he is the HWA Cruiserweight champ or OVW one. Hell EZ Money was HWA Champion, Why haven't we seen him come over to WWF yet? Guest Ripper Report post Posted April 7, 2002 Him not signing a developmental contract with the one and only important Wrestling fed in the us is moronic. Its like quitting a job as a secretary because you wanted to be president RIGHT now. You have to work your way up the ladder.
Guest muswp1 Report post Posted April 7, 2002 AJ will eventually sign once he realizes that the only road to the big time goes thru the WWF. As for Vince misusing talent, The Big Show and Kane are two perfect examples. Kane is more talented than the Undertaker (sorry Respect the Taker...), actually can cut a decent promo (see Smackdown last week with him, Hogan, and Rock), and has been WWF Champion before. Big Show can't maintain a feud because it seems like the bookers can't figure out what to do with him when he gets hot. Until the WWF actually makes a serious attempt to get the crusers over, AJ might be right but he will have to sign.

That's understandable, im also a huge Kane fan as well, so in many ways i agree with you there. Thanks still, for mentioning me in your post! This has been the Taker Mark...who also marks for Kane
Guest Report post Posted April 9, 2002 He was offered 500$ per week and that was too less for him. Yes but how much does he make on the indies? Tohse guys dont get alot. The WWF might be upset that he tunrned them down and might not want him in the future. Tihs was a bad move I think.
Guest J*ingus Report post Posted April 9, 2002 Styles is a pretty highly demanded indy star, and between WWA and his indy work, I'd say he could certainly be making that much already.
Guest Report post Posted April 9, 2002 How much does he make per booking you think?
Guest Singular Report post Posted April 9, 2002 Why take less money to work for a promotion that doesn't even have an established cruiser division yet? That 500 a week could turn into 50,000 a year, or it could stay at 500 a week for a long time. He did the right thing by holding out for the time being. I'm pretty sure nobody would take him seriously as anything but a cruiser, but after Spike's win over Regal last night I'm not sure, even thought it was a fluke win and probably just a way to transition the title to someone else. Angle is at least 6'1 When was Rhyno over 300 pounds? He looked heavy in his early ECW days, but over 300?
