Special play techniques for fighting games.

I'll keep that site in mind--although admittedly I'm not going to be able to mess around with the fighters for a while, since I rented a bunch of games and I'm playing them until I return 'em.

 

Is there some trick I'm missing out on to get these combos off? Plus, that jumping HP for Kyo just doesn't seem to want to cross up for me. Auuugh, I suck.
