ECW reunites.  --  That was a high I couldn't get down from.  Then, Steph comes... ugh.

 

RVD nearly beats Jericho to win the Undisputed Champion.  -- I was jumping up and down like a 2 yr. old.

 

Storm nearly beats Booker T. to win the WCW World Title.  -- Same as before.

 

Also, when DX returned was pretty big.. and when Flair came back.  There are others, but I probably can't remember them.

Recently? When I was sitting in front of my PC while they were doing the draft lottery on wwfowners.com, and saw the Smackdown roster get better and better (it's the only one of the two shows I can see on TV).

The last time I "marked" out, and I had to be a mark to enjoy this, was the return of the Ultimatre Warrior. Just always thought he was cool, even if he was a horrid wrestler.

I also marked out when I saw Hall on Nitro. That shocked the hell out of me.

I marked like crazy when Jericho appeared finally in the WWF, at the end of the countdown.  I suspected that it would be him, but wasn't sure.  

 

Also, when ECW reunited.  Hearing "THIS....IS EXTREEEEEEME!" during a WWF show was such a wonderfully surreal moment.

I have two moments that stick in my mind. When Steambat won the title at Mania3 and when Benoit beat the Rock for he title TWICE in 2000 only to have it nullified 2 minutes later.

3) WWF/WCW vs ECW (then they made the stupid swerve. I was already starting to smell poo with this whole angle the evening WCW went heel.)

No angle ever kept me marked out for an extended period of time like the Invasion did, but the evening they turned WCW heel, something didn't seem right. I'm also not really a ECW fan by any means, so that addition just seem to be overbooking the angle.

In No Real Order,

 

Bret Hart walks out on Saturday morning "Superstars" holding the WWF Title. I had No F'N Clue he beat Flair at that point. I was (And still am) a Huge "Hitman" mark, so seeing him with the title was amazing to me.

 

Again, Bret walks out on RAW the night after WM10 with the title. I couldn't get PPV's still up here at that time so I didn't know what happen at Mania until RAW that night.

 

OK, I swear last time, Bret Hart makes his return to RAW after being "retired"  for those 6 months after losing to HBK and accepts Austin's Challenge for Survivor Series.

 

HHH returns at MSG. (Only If I knew what was to come)

Benoit wins WCW title.

 

Radicals Debut on RAW.

 

Steamboat beats Savage (WM3)

 

Flair shows up on WWF "Primetime" wrestling with the NWA title.

Flair returns to RAW.

 

PIllman debuts in ECW.

 

Owen Hart returns and attacks HBK after the Survivor Series "Screw job." Hey, I didn't have the net then so I thought he was gone from the WWF also.

 

RAW is ECW. Yeah, Yeah, Steph ruined it, but damn it was Awesome up to that point.

 

Lance Storm shows up in Calgery on RAW to literally kick off the Invasion.

 

Raven debuts in the WWF and DDT's Lawler. Damn, back then I thought for sure Raven would be main eventing with in a year if not sooner.

 

I'm sure there is many more from when I was a kid but that is all I can think of.

Let me get my Triple H moments out of the way first.

 

Triple H returning at Madison Square Garden: I blew the speakers out on my television I had it turned up so loud. I channeled Jim Ross and everything. 'THE GAME! THE GAME! THE GAME!'

 

Triple H making his Royal Rumble 'statement' the next night on Smackdown: There was an awesome build up with one wrestler appearing after another. When his music hit I went off.

 

Triple H winning his first Heavyweight Title: Everybody had gone to bed early at my place that night. Needless to say, they were abruptly woken up. As soon as the referee hit that three count I was screaming.

 

Triple H beating Austin clean at No Way Out: Austin always dominated every single match that he had with The Game. I hated the man every time he wrestled Triple H. When Triple H finally won I was throwing fingers at the television like a man possessed. 'Fuck you Austin. That is what you get!' It was a pretty silly mark moment for me.

 

Now for the rest.

 

The Undertaker returning after Kane had burnt him in the casket: Paul Bearer was in the ring with Kane cutting a promo. We had not seen the Undertaker in a while. All of a sudden you hear that gong go off. It sent goosebumps up my arms. When the lightning struck him on the table he was laying on and he sat right up I just about flipped out.

 

Jericho debuting on Raw: I had no idea it would be him. Took me completely by surprise.

 

Hogan versus The Rock: Nostalgia or not I was all about Hulk Hogan that night. I was laughing so hard I almost cried.

 

The Undertaker reminding the children who is in charge: I am not sure if anyone will remember this or not. It took place on Raw. This took place before the formation of the new Hart Foundation and D-Generation X. Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart were in the ring. I want to say that they were badmouthing each other on the microphone. Both of them wanted to be champion. They start going at it and then the camera cuts to a shot of the Undertaker who was standing at the top of the ramp holding the title up above his head. I thought that was an awesome and powerful moment. I used to mark out for the Undertaker a lot back in the day.

HBK showed up at 15 and told Vince he wasn't the special ref and basically kicked him out of the ring and told him he would kick his ass if he came back out again, which Vince did, and Shawn didn't do anything.

The HBK "Lost my smile" speech (i was a big HBK mark if you must know)

Unforgiven 99 when Chyna beat Jarrett for the I-C Title...then had the decision reversed.

 

And any match where Hogan loses.

HHH comes back, and yes I know what happened to that now.  Overshadowed by a flabby 50 year old and the the

Crock.  (Remember that DX moment??)

 

Sitting live in attendence for Smackdown in Edmonton and seeing Chris Benoit suplex Stone Cold 10 times!!!!!  I have never been so happy to scream holy shit in my entire life.

 

Seeing Chris Benoit and Y2J win the tag titles before finding out that HHH had damn near crippled himself.
