I only saw him once, how did he debut, and what was the last angle he appeared in?

He was a British wrestler who worked for years under the name Giant Haystacks. He was probably one of the top two draws in the UK for many years before and after TV was pulled in 89. He never really retired from wrestling but did run a collection agency on the side and also did some acting (Give my regards to Broadstreet). There's an anecdote about him stinking up a bus and stiffing a Japanese guy in Pure Dynamite.

He had some charisma but his main attribute was his size as he was an abysmyl worker who'd blow up about thirty seconds into each match.

He debuted after Hogan had beat The Giant in the cage at Superbrawl 96.  He tried attacking Hulk after, but was held back by the DOD.

Only remembering seeing him in two matches.  One was on a Nitro, where the Giant attacked him as the show went on air, and Lex Luger retained the TV Title by forfeit.  Then there was his match against The Giant at Uncensored.  Which sucked.

Like Muzanisa said, Loch Ness is more commonly known as Giant Haystacks, and was one of the biggest draws in the UK in the 70s and 80s.  His main nemesis was Big Daddy (real name Shirley Crabtree).  Their feud went on for years, and in the end was just two big fat men bouncing off each other (which is pretty much why British wrestling was threw off TV in 1988, something it still hasn't recovered from, despite many valent attempts).

FYI, Haystacks was also know as Luke McMasters, and his real name was Martin Ruane.  He passed away a few years ago after battling with cancer.

Yeah, Haystacks died of stomach cancer. Just to give you an idea of the size of the guy, the tumour they removed from his gut was slightly larger than a soccer ball, and he never knew it was there. How big do you have to be not to notice a tumour that size inside your body?

He also wrestled Alex Wright on Nitro in a match that couldn't of been more than a minute.

I saw Giant Haystacks vs PN News live when i was about 12 and it won't surprise you to know that it really sucked. Haystacks came out to the ring on a stage and he was too fat to bend down to shake any hands of little kids after the match because it was too far for him to reach down. I heard he was quite a nice person in real life.
