Brock vs kurt

Added info: we are the only country that uses folkstyle. Every other country lives by freestyle and, and thinks folkstyle is shit, while we think the oppisite (except of course for guys the excel at freestyle).

Greco is unpopular mostly because it uses just upper body strength, as you cant attack the legs. If Brock was going to go for the Olympics (which he says he would have done if he had not won the NCAA championship) he would have likely wrestled greco, which would be a whole new ball game as he would have to learn handfighting techniques and such....he wouldnt be able to use his power-double that won him so many folkstyle matches.

this is truly idiotic. Angle would fuck Lesnar up. Period.

There is no way that a NCAA champion has a chance against an olympic calibre wrestler in a wrestling match, let alone a shootfighting match.

Get bent. You romos are so sold on the pro-wrestling ideal of size. You talk about "cruisers" this and that but in reality you're all a bunch of marks. Vince sells you his big man shit hook line and sinker.

well, i've personally never seen Brock wrestle a match so i'll reserve judgment on him until his first 15 minute match.

Say, just when WILL Brock wrestle a match anyway? Even one of those 3 minute TV matches... I'll take anything, as cool as seeing him destroy random people is.

Way to make friends.

Anyhow.. I think it could go either way.

Same goes for Shoot vs. Grappling since the Grappling techniques did win a few UFC's, the competitors are training techniques to counter.

NCAA accomplishments aside, Brock Lesnar has done nothing impressive in the WWF yet.

Angle could take Brock if fully up to speed, I'm sure.

I always wondered what Benoit would be like in a shoot...

Angle VS Lesnar in a fight ill give the edge to Brock but in an Amature Match angle would probably kick brock's ass. I give brock credit he's a NCAA Heavyweight Champion. But there is alot of difference bettween the NCAA and the olympics and brock would probably be to slow for angle.

Brock VS RVD in a fight i would have to say brock but i would not be surrpried if RVD gave brock one of those stiff kicks in the face and brock would go down like a ton of bricks.

Brock is an Ape, but Angle has the Three I's.

The best being Intelligence, that alone would be too much for Brock.

The following is from Wrestleboard.com

It also should be noted that ever since that Brock Lesnar/Kurt Angle wrestling skirmish in which Angle won, but found out that he wasn't nearly as good as he was in 1996 due to it being around six years since Angle has been trained at that level, Angle hasn't talked about or at all considered being a part of the 2004 Olympics.

So Kurt did have an amature match against Brock and one funny that after 6 years not training for amature wrestling Kurt can still beat lesnar.

I was really disapointed when Rulon Gardner turned WWF down because they could of hyped the fuck out of Angle/Gardner for Wrestle Mania.

Angle has been quoted on occassion as saying he can take anyone in a shoot.

I'm very sure he could back that up and make Lesnar lose all his heat and look like a little bitch.

Kurt Angle owns the mat.

Not surprised to see Kurt's skills have deteriorated. Its real hard to keep yourself up at that level.

Sanderson is an amazing wrestler and athlete.

159-0 record at Iowa, first person ever to go undefeated. 4 straight championships. He's awesome.

Even scarier is what Alexander KArelin did in Greco. Undefeated for a decade, went like 6 or 7 years without surrendering a point, and won 7 World Championships, 2 gold and 1 silver medals at the Olympics.

Guy is also 6'5, and close to 300 pounds ripped. His strength in a wrestling sense is insane. He can legitimatly heave 280+ pound men through the air. Not just big guys, but world class athletes and the best wrestlers in the world, and still were powerless to stop him.

Gardner got lucky to beat Karelin. Karelin had been hurt going in, and was starting to lose a couple steps. ANd in the end, Gardner beat him 1-0.

Greatest international wrestler of all time.
