HHH is holding down Ric Flair

Recommended Posts

Not enough to read a book by Foley.  :P

Now that's what I call a comeback! :D Nice to see some people on the 'net have a sense of humor. By the way, it is a good book. You should pick it up in the bargain bin. It's a real page turner.

I dunno. I've never really had an interest in reading books by pro wrestlers, unless you count the one by Fred Blassie since it's about the golden age of wrestling and whatnot.

MASON. Not Manson.

Although, FUN FACT ... In his first jobber run in WCW, Mike was known as Cactus Jack Manson.

And now you the rest of the story...

Good day.

All I can say is: Try it, you'll like it. At least borrow a copy from your local library. That way you don't have to buy it. And it doesn't come off as written by a wrestler. It is a very well-written book. If you ever liked a Foley promo, then I'm sure you will enjoy his book. But if you're not a Foley fan, then I guess you can forget it. It's full of stories about guys that you may have thought were "good" guys that turned out to really be assholes. I don't know, I just liked the book a lot. It made me an even bigger fan of Foley. And believe me, he makes fun of himself throughout the whole book.

Which book is this? The first one? Or Foley is Good?

Remember now, the book you want is 'Have a Nice Day'... the other one which I can't remember the name of at the moment is basically half filled with a rant against the media's presentation of wrestling.

'Have a Nice Day' is the one with the 'blood and sweatsocks' sub-title, correct?

Yeah, that's the one. I haven't read Foley is Good. It was pretty obvious to me that it wasn't going to be the same type of book as Have a Nice Day, so I didn't bother with it. Plus, I don't think he looks good with a shaved head. That was one ugly book cover!

What makes you think HHH is the future of the WWE? HHH sucks too.

HHH is great. He's strong, he can wrestle every style, and he wsa champion for like years. they don't give the wwe champion to anybody: you have to be the best!

What style is that HHH can wrestle. Why do u think he is champion? Look who he is married to.

HHH was only champion because of Steph and we all know that but I belive if Ric Flair was held down by HHH then Ric Flair could have had one last run as champion. Hogan got a final run so did HBK so why not Ric Flair?

HHH was Champ because Vince thought he had the goods, which he did back in '99. All hell broke loose after that. If Flair was being held down how could he have a run? I think it would be the other way around. Hogan got a final run because of WM X-7. You can thank Canadian fans for that. I can see why they went apeshit for him, though. They hadn't seen him in person in about 10 years. HBK was given a token run because he's HHH's friend, nothing more. He didn't draw any time as champ. I think you are just living in the past if you still think Flair deserves another reign. He was rewarded for his service with 16-21 reigns. That's plenty. Flair hasn't meant anything since the glory days of the nWo. He is really well suited for the role he has now. And it's very obvious that he enjoys not having to kill himself every night. He's a special attraction, nothing more. And besides, if Flair deserves another run, why doesn't Lawler? After all, he was a 250 time USWA champ.

Uh........ No, sorry. The King fought Coach like 2 months ago. I'd say he's just as active as Flair. And younger. And by the way, learn how to enunciate. It's the only way you'll get some respect in this forum.

Ok The King did wrestle but it was just a one off match unlike Ric Flair who wrestlers a few times a month.

For Bret to get on my good side he now must...

1.) assassinate Osama Bin Laden

2.) assassinate Saddam Hussein

3.) learn to spell.

4.) Learn to use grammar. (Drury37 anyone?)

5.) Ban 1inch Punch

6.) Change my Name.

7.) Give me a copy of wrestlemania IX

8.) Start a flame war against someone liked and insult people with mama jokes (zakalex whatever anyone?)

9.) Learn your history.

or just do

1.) KILL YOURSELF!!!!!

I think HHH is holding down Ric Flair and I dont like it.

Sounds like someone's also holding down your brain..

that's the same thing my uncle told me before pointing a gun to his head.

his tombstone reads "blame it on HHH"

Bret, we all believe in you.

The very idea is rubbish. Ric Flair was basically a non-factor in the WWE before he hooked up with HHH. Now he is prominently featured every week.
