Greatest logic gaps in wrestling history

Here's a glaring plot hole...

 

For the second time, Stephanie McMahon has been forced to leave the WWF. Now I'm not complaining about that, but here's my question:

 

WHAT THE HELL IS HER JOB?

 

Seriously, think about it. In terms of storylines, she's no longer a 1/4 owner. She's forfeited that title TWICE. Once when her and Linda gave Austin 50% power, and another time when her and Shane sold all their stock to buy the Alliance. She's not a wrestler, even though she wrestles occaisionally. She's not a manager, because if she were than Vince or Flair could tell her who she had to manage (remember the Debra/Rock thing?). In fact we know she has no job, because Vince never says, "YOU'RE FIRED." So when she has to leave the WWF, does that just mean she can't get in the arena free anymore?

The Hardyz are the worst their story lines begin and then just end. Matt and Jeff fighting then a month off then they are best buds. The whole Matt being hit on by other women and fighting with Lita. etc.....

The biggest logical gap i can think of is:

 

Since the men's and women's champion can appear on both shows, and they was undraftable, well what happens if they suddenly lose the title?  

Do they have to go to the show of the person they lost it to?  

Do they continue being free agents, and the title goes exclusive to that show the new champ won it on?

Tag Matches on RAW = Why Bother?

 

Singles Matches on SmackDown (Other than Undisputed Title Matches)? = Why Bother?    Oh I know why, because if you're under 215lbs, you can wear CruiserWeight Gold . . . Babyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!

Why would Vince McMahon, who still had 100% power at the time, approve a match where his daugther would have to leave the WWF if she lost?

 

Who approved this match and who is supposed to enforce the banishment? Did Flair approve the match? Is Triple H going to be the one who keeps her out?

 

Why would he even enforce that decision? Why can't he bring her back on Smackdown? It is his show.

 

And best of all ... what way are they going to bring her back?

How did you guys forget Bossman/Taker HIAC from WM XV?  There's no bigger logical gap then GETTING HUNG UNTIL YOU DIE and showing up on TV the next week ALIVE.  

 

Bossman died!  They executed him!  I thought Russo was going to make him some undead zombie for the ministry the next night on Raw or something (not saying that's a good idea, but still). However, to this day he's a functioning human being!  All that happened from the hanging was he was gone from TV for a week, then he showed back up while J.R. said things like "Bossman's irate with Taker for hanging him at Wrestlemania..."

How is that Austin, HHH, Rikishi, the NWO, and Rock apparently can't be arrested for almost killing each other(Austin/Rikishi/NWO/Rock - attempted murder, and HHH - conspiracy to commit murder)?

 

Why wasn't PETA called in when Bossman fed Pepper to Al Snow?

 

Why wasn't Bossman arrested for vandalism and theft of property when he stole Big Show's dad's casket?

 

How come if you attempt to kill someone, you get off scott free, but beating up an owner and/or a fan gets you jailtime?

 

Why was Undertaker allowed to use "Satanist" propaganda in 98-99, yet even mentioning those 3 letters gets you kicked off immediately(not that I'm calling what Taker did Satanist or anything, but it WAS kinda implied. Also, as a black man, I do not advocate the KKK at all).

 

 

I'm sure I can think up a few more soon enough....

At Backlash 2000, Kurt Angle kicked out of a Big Boot/Legdrop combo by the Big Show.

 

On RAW a while back, The Rock got pinned by a Big Boot/Legdrop combo by Hulk Hogan.

 

Big Show is 500 pounds. Hogan is 300 at the most. The Rock is bigger than Kurt Angle. So what makes Hogan's legrop more devastating? It's not the force or weight being dropped, because Big Show is bigger. Any explanation?

I'll admit Hogan is in better shape then I'll be when I'm 50, but when I wanna see tits on WWF I wanna see Lita's or Trish's, not some 50 year old floppy saggy former pecs.  They're almost as bad as when Mae Young flashed at Royal Rumble 2000 *retch*

There's no doubt Hogan's in better shape than most of us. I mean for a guy who's career for the last 30 years has revolved around what shape he is.....I certainly hope he's in better shape than me. A high school senior who doesn't play any sports. I mean seriously....I hope he's in better shape than most of this board.

 

Back to logic gaps.

Macho Man smacks Elizabeth around and treats her like dirt..but she sticks with him and then reunites with him all tearfully.

Another one involving Savage, the nWo spends a good year beating the hell out of him....then he joins them. WTF?

Oh and don't get me started on Sting logic gaps........

Triple H defeats Jericho for the IC Title last year. They never mention again who Triple H beat for the title nor do they give Jericho a Rematch.

We all know about the "Drop the arm three times" spot during a sleeper. The babyface always keeps his arm up on the third one. Now, does he know that it's the third one? Was he awake for the first two? If he was, why did he just let his arm drop? If he wasn't awake, how'd he know that was the third drop?

I agree how the spot where they always lift their arm out just of the third one is rather silly.  That just led to me thinking it was that much cooler when Regal beat DDP for the Euro title and the ref let the arm fall three times.  Sure, DDP may have been "out cold", but it was the first time I'd ever seen the arm fall for the third time.
