So King Hackl falls.

I think Hackl was lucky to win the silver medal (he was about 0.015 seconds faster than Prock and about .350 seconds slower than Zöggeler).

Men's Biathlon (20 km):

GOLD - Ole Einar Björndalen (NOR)

SILVER - Frank Luck (GER)

BRONZE - Victor Maigurov (RUS)

Frode Andresen (NOR) lost the race at the last shooting. He would have won if he had missed one target, would have been 2nd if he had missed two targets. But he missed three of the five targets because he risked too much.

Excuse my language, but the judging in the pairs free skate was a CROCK OF SHIT.  Sale and Pelletier clearly had the better program, and they got screwed.

I agree. Canada just got totally screwed. Their routine was amazing, and they didn't make any mistakes like the Russians.  Damn Soviet block voting.

anyone think that the medal standings thing is a bad way to tally olympics? they should keep a "per capita" board running... the US always wins the most medals, but when you look at the amount of people in the US, and the amount of people they send, and you compare that to the amount of medals other countries win compared to teh amount of people in their countries, per capita, Canada and the US rank about 30th - 35th in the world.
