Guest Boo_Bradley Report post Posted November 4, 2003 Sultan defeated Carl LeDuc I remember being excited back in 96/97 when I read in PWI that Joe LeDuc's son was wrestling for the WWF. Any sign of potential growth encouraged me. I SO wanted the WWF to beat the evil BILLIONIARE Ted (Damn Vince had me hook, line and sinker)

Any idea what happened to him? I have maybe 10 appearances during 96 but nothing after, as far as I know.
Guest Flang Report post Posted November 4, 2003 I'll have the latest news on Leduc later tonight. And it's not pretty. He was in my town last weekend. Have to go to work now.
Guest Boo_Bradley Report post Posted November 5, 2003 (edited) You were trained by one of the best, the infamous Carl LeDuc, what was it like working with Carl? Eric: Interesting to say the least. Anyone who knows Carl knows he's a little crazy but he knows his stuff. For those of you that don't know Carl he is son of legendary Canadian grappler Paul Leduc of the Canadian lumberjacks. He is also nephew of the Canadian Legend The Lumberjack Jos Leduc. He also appeared on the documentary Bret Hart wrestling with shadows he was the bald french guy being stretched by Stu in the dungeon. Guest Flang Report post Posted November 5, 2003 Carl Leduc now wrestle for his father's fed, the FLQ, in Québec City. And he have a horrible reputation over here. Thinks he's better than everyone. Anyway, our little fed here in Jonquière(JCW) work with some wrestlers from the FLQ this month, including Leduc. This past saturday, Leduc was supposed to wrestle in the main event in a 4 vs 4 match. During the night, he kept screaming and punching the walls in the locker room for no apparent reason. He then tried to do drugs in the locker room (don't know what exactly). Finally, he decided that he didn't wanted to wrestle and he did watch the rest of the show sitting in the crowd, making rude comments on the show. He'll never wrestle here again. Real nice guy. Guest Flang Report post Posted November 5, 2003 WWF World Champion Randy Savage defeated Dino Bravo via disqualification in a lumberjack match - Dino has a three-month run against Savage in Montreal and DOESN'T job in the blowoff. Bravo won the first match by count-out. The second match ended in a double-count-out. I think the third one was a double DQ but i could be wrong. Ah, the good old times when we had special matches just for Montreal.
cawthon777 0 Report post Posted November 5, 2003 I have Dino going over via count-out on 8/28 ... then on 10/9 the two fought in a No Count-out match and it ended up being a double DQ ... then this was the final of the three. The next month, Bravo was back on the card and beat Jim Duggan. I guess it just surprised me how Dino got away without getting pinned in the blowoff. I guess that says something for his popularity in Montreal - or his backstage power, one of the two.
