The truth about the abortion of the sd/raw drafts?

Cut and pasted from Tomzenk.com:

TNN gets RAW end of the split

-------------------------------------------------------------------

WWF’s agreement for UPN programming expires in September 2003.

WWF’s agreement for TNN and MTV programming expires in September 2005.

So they saddle TNN with Flair and a watered down show.

And pitch for a renewed contract with UPN with the Rock, Angle and Co.

Trading begins in earnest when RAW numbers start their slide and TNN invokes penalty clauses against WWF. Wait and watch…

Out of curiousity, what penalty clauses could TNN invoke on the WWF? Aside from cancelling Excess (which given it's jack shit importants in the WWF's grand scheme of things doesn't seem to be something that could put the hurt on the WWF) what could TNN do to the WWF to get the roster fixed and the ratings up when they start their inevitable slide down the shitter? Besides the obvious of TNN refusing to pick up Raw when it's contract comes up....

I believe this.

And conversely I don't believe the WWF for one fucking minute when they say "trades" are coming.  They won't be.

RAW will remain shit for a LONG time.
