Guest Report post Posted April 7, 2002 Just wondering if anyone knows anything? Would you guys buy it? I think I would, especially if they put some extras on them. Maybe show the events leading up to the matches or something like that..

Guest areacode212 Report post Posted April 7, 2002 I would only buy the WrestleManias that appealed to me--a box set with 18 3-4 hour DVDs would cost, um, a lot more than I'd be willing to spend. I'm happy with getting comp tapes containing only the matches I want. As for extras, it seems that the WWF is pretty lazy/stingy with putting any on their DVDs, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Non-kayfabe commentary from the wrestlers during their matches would be pretty sweet, though.
Guest Karnage Report post Posted April 7, 2002 If they did have a DVD Box set, they shouldn't put the WWF scratch attitude logo in the bottom left corner of the earlier Wrestlemanias like the VHS box set, it looks kinda weird.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted April 7, 2002 Chapter selection and a history leading up to the matches would be good extras. If it was just a VHS tape on DVD with no extras it would be worthless. I can still find some old tapes at the local video store without having to pay $35 a piece for a WWF DVD.
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted April 8, 2002 All they would have to do is splice up the all day long Wrestlemania special and add those to the DVDs as extras and maybe get Hogan (all of his ME's this would be a riot), Flair (title match from 8), HBK (iron man and ladder), Austin (submission match), Rock, Hall (ladder amtch), HHH (on the Warrior match would be funny), Taker (Kane match), and I bet they could get Steamboat for the Savage match) to do commentary over their respective matches and you have a good coollection (1-14 should be in the set as 15-18 are already or soon to be out) I guess it would cost about $250, maybe they should do 3 sets, 1-5, 6-10, 11-14, and if they really wanted to be dicks they could only release them in the sets so to get 8 & 10 you have to buy 7 & 9.
