Guest Jay Z. Hollywood Report post Posted November 7, 2003 Combat Zone Wrestling will run it's second event in Italy on 3/26/04. A press release announcing the new date listed the official paid attendance for the debut Italian show at 2,170 tickets sold with 1,760 attending as fans were stranded without a way to the show due to a transportation strike, which does happen fairly regularly in Italy. Relations between CZW Tag Team champion Johnny Kashmere, who quit the promotion in September, and CZW management have improved and I wouldn't be shocked to see him return to the promotion in the near future. No word on when Nick Mondo, who was injured at the Tournament of Death II going off the roof of Racks Bar & Grill through three tables covered with light tubes, will return to the ring. The promotion had been hoping he would be back by December. CZW returns to the ECW Arena on 11/15 with the following scheduled lineup: *The Messiah & Nick Hatred vs. Nick Gage & the returning Wifebeater in a Double Dog Collar match with CZW champion John Zandig as the special referee. *Chris Hero vs. Homicide vs. Alex Shelley vs. Jimmy Jacobs *B-Boy vs. Jimmy Rave *Deranged vs. Azrael *Mercedes Martinez vs. Nikki Roxx in a Ladies Match *Z-Barr & Nick Berk vs. The Dirty Rotten Scoundrelz The promotion's marquee event of the year, Cage of Death 5, will be held on 12/13 at the ECW Arena. The promotion is already promoting a match will involve one million thumbtacks. There will be a bus trip from Queens and Manhattan to the event. For details, email [email protected].
