Guest Report post Posted April 8, 2002 With the WWF milking Hogan's "popularity" we are in for some god awful main events. Its just like WCW all over again.
Guest Some Guy Report post Posted April 8, 2002 The difference is that Hogan will only be around for a few more months not years like he was in WCW, Hogan is over right now, and he's drawing big money doing dream matches and jobs in them. Hoagn will be gone soon enough and new guys will be elevated, just be patient.
Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted April 8, 2002 I think the big difference this time is that Hogan now sees that his time is almost up, and going to put some guys over before he goes. At least, I pray, I pray. Vince can't be stupid enough to give Hogan a title run.
Guest Special K Report post Posted April 8, 2002 I don't think HHH would lose his title so quickly, one example of me being glad for his stroke. I can only think that Hogan going red and yellow so quickly means he knows he is almost done.
Guest Report post Posted April 8, 2002 Hogan done....never, the guy is a leech, and the only way he will leave, is if Vince gets rid of him. Hogan is a mark for himself, and he cares jack shit about the business. I bet he is already trying to convince Vince that maybe he should get the title, because its his "last run" and he wants to go out with one more title. Guest Human Fly Report post Posted April 8, 2002 Nothing good can come of a Hogan title win. He'll win it, and then turn around and return the job to HHH. So we'll see two bad matches instead of one.
Guest Report post Posted April 8, 2002 I think that Hogan will get a title run before he is through just so that a heel can tear him down and put himself over in the same manner that Triple H did with Foley.
Guest Nater Report post Posted April 8, 2002 Hopefully HHH vs. Hogan means a HHH return to Heel. He will get heat for the match if the same holds true for how Rock's match went down. Stiff the old man and get some blood from those legs!
Guest Report post Posted April 8, 2002 The main events have sucked since last fall really. It is typically the most predictable and boring to watch. It only got worse when the NWO recycled crap was introduced. NWO were a poison alright...to the ratings.
Guest Report post Posted April 8, 2002 I'm pretty sure that the ratings have been up a little bit since the nwo came back.. not saying their the reason why, but I don't think they've hurt.
Guest art_vandelay Report post Posted April 8, 2002 I have a feeling he WILL get the title. If the marks want it bad enough, it will happen. They were already booing Triple H this Thursday.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted April 8, 2002 Unfortunatly, I think Hogan will win the title, and just have a short run, maybe lose it back to a heel HHH in a couple of weeks.

Guest nWoScorpion Report post Posted April 8, 2002 hogan as champion would rule.........for a final run. I wouldnt bet on anything loger then 6 weeks. Also, he HAS had good title runs. Has everyone forgotten the a the time, biggest match ever, Vs. andre The giant, the Ultimate Challenge at WMVI, and some othe rmatches with him as champion. Guest tazmission86 Report post Posted April 8, 2002 "The main events have sucked since last fall really." No, the main events started sucking at No Way Out. The Royal Rumble Rock/Jericho match was good, as were the Vengeance matches. The Survivor Series main event was exciting, the No Mercy triple threat match was cool, Unforgiven sort of sucked, but SummerSlam's Angle/Austin was excellent. The main events didn't start sucking until we saw that Triple H's inring skills were suffering, and Austin and Jericho's crappy match at No Way Out. I think the nWo has lowered morale, so people don't work all that well with each other, and things are just awkward. The nWo doesn't belong in the WWF, they belong in a place where they are the biggest fish in the pond. "Also, he HAS had good title runs. Has everyone forgotten the a the time, biggest match ever, Vs. andre The giant, the Ultimate Challenge at WMVI, and some othe rmatches with him as champion." Dude, it's the year 2002. Those matches were great and exciting back then, but Hogan's time is over. He does not, by any means, deserve a Title shot, never mind an actual run with the strap. I wouldn't be shocked if Triple H was in everyones ear claiming HIM holding the title now is the reason Ratings are up.
