Meltzer said at the top of his radio show tonight that he doesn't think Rock will be at Smackdown on Tuesday, but if he is it will be his last appearance for several months.

 

Rock won't be wrestling on the PPV and probably won't be available until June.

 

This really weakens the Smackdown roster, as it will now most likely revolve around Hogan, Vince and Triple H. It also leaves Chris Jericho without an opponent for Backlash.  Who's the next face on the totem pole after Edge? Rikishi?  Ugh.  And Kurt Angle fans think they have it bad.

 

Chris Benoit cannot get back soon enough!!

This puts way to much presure on Hogan to not get stale and HHH to not keeo sucking.  Benoit coming back will be a good thing, but will Vince use him as MEer or as a JTTS?

I can't see how movie promotion can keep him totally off tv for months. I can see a week or two around the release of the movie. But unless WWF is just giving him some resting time i can't see anything that would keep him off tv for months. You honestly think Vince would've agreed to let him make a movie without making sure that he isn't yanked off tv anymore then possible. And besides there isn't that much promotion that they can do with the stars of the movie that would add up to months.

I'm guessing that there will be heavy promotion for Scorpion King for the next couple weeks here in the States and then just as soon as that dies down, Rock will probably going overseas to promote the movie in Europe and so forth. He'd probably be free for a week here or there. But since they couldn't start up any storylines with him maybe they figure to wait until he's done with the movie promotion to bring him back for another BIG RETURN.

 

Not much to Meltzer's show tonight. Lots of MMA and Japanese talk. Well, when Meltzer wasn't hanging up on prank callers. I swear he must of went through 5 callers in about 30 seconds at one point.

 

There was a funny moment in the beginning when someone asked if Taker was pissed he got bumped from the main event. Meltzer said probably but it would not be a big deal because he was a "team player."

 

The consensus on King Of The Ring this year would be that there would be a RAW bracket and a Smackdown bracket. The only inter-promotional match would be the final match between a RAW wrestler and a Smackdown wrestler.

 

Meltzer also believed that Jericho would have to be strengthened because he and Angle will need to be the workhorses for Smackdown until Benoit comes back. We'll see. But I still think Vince will push himself as top heel as usual and that B/A/J will be jobbers for Triple H and Hogan.

Well without even seeing his new movie which i probably won't see until it comes to tv.

I'm pretty damn sure It's better than all them Hogan Movies. Except I did enjoy No Hold Barred though.

I saw Carrot tops movie before i ever saw friggin three ninjas with Hulk Hogan.

 

Hell Carrot Tops movie was pretty decent for Carrot Top. I still have no idea why i watched it. Probably cause it was late at night an their was nothing on tv. Plus he reminds me of Pippi LongStocking. An I had a thing for her back in the day. It must of been cause of her hair or the Fact her Dad was a Pirate.

Damn months to promote a moive? I know Satanico already said this but that seems like way too long. Plus I think hes going to shoot some action comedy movie this summer.

Maybe Meltzer is right and Taker's polticing has been exagerated. Come to think of it, I cant remember hearing of one specific instance of him doing that. Just a bunch of 'Taker is a politicing bastard' sentiment.

No way. Hogan wont wrestle every week. They have to keep him fresh especially since they went with the red and yellow return(bad move imo). So I guess Benoit will be the other Smackdown excelusive top face. And dont forget, they can elevate a lot of the other guys. Wasnt that point of splitting the shows in the first place?

Rocky was not cocky or self-first as he should have been.

I have a feeling that anybody that is dealing with Hogan is gonna get bent. Bent as in bent over or twisted.
