What was ddp's finisher

Wasn't Diamond Dust one of Masato Tanaka's moves?

As DDP explains in his book, he had difficulty trying to find a move before the Diamond Cutter.  Going on advice from Jake Roberts, he tried to find a killer move which could be put on from pretty much anywhere, and on anyone (like the DDT, but not like The Tombstone).

As for what his finisher was, I seem to remember he variated from a face first piledriver (ie. get in position for normal piledriver, then fall forward into a face buster style thing) and a gut-wrenched gut buster.

Are you guys telling me DDP won matches before he started using the Diamond Cutter?  With something other than a rollup?  Is there any footage?  ;)

In all seriousness, I seem to recall that facefirst piledriver being pretty effective for a while.

Are you guys sure he won matches with something not called a roll up?  ;)

I remember back in the day when I would chronically watch WCW Worldwide and Saturday Night...

They were trying to get DDP over then, I think, and he would have a different "devastating" move every week it seemed.  This is at the time when Kimberly had the cards, and she would rate his moves.

He had a move that I remember being called the "Diamond Mine".  Unfortunately, I have no recollection of what it was...  Can anyone help?

I dont think he had a set finisher before the Diamond Cutter (credited to Bobby Heenan). He would just come up with moves on occasion.
