Guest Crasper Report post Posted April 8, 2002 Wasn't Diamond Dust one of Masato Tanaka's moves? As DDP explains in his book, he had difficulty trying to find a move before the Diamond Cutter. Going on advice from Jake Roberts, he tried to find a killer move which could be put on from pretty much anywhere, and on anyone (like the DDT, but not like The Tombstone). As for what his finisher was, I seem to remember he variated from a face first piledriver (ie. get in position for normal piledriver, then fall forward into a face buster style thing) and a gut-wrenched gut buster. In all seriousness, I seem to recall that facefirst piledriver being pretty effective for a while. Are you guys sure he won matches with something not called a roll up? They were trying to get DDP over then, I think, and he would have a different "devastating" move every week it seemed. This is at the time when Kimberly had the cards, and she would rate his moves.
