Fast and the furious

I'm a big gearhead I'm into old musclecars and racing them,

people keep suggesting I watch The Fast and the Furious

I've seen the trailer and it looks like a bunch of weenie lowered Mitsubishis I see all the punk kids drive around town nowdays,and the only cool car in the movie is a 70 Dodge Charger and they wreck it ugh.I've read some of the script and from a mechanic/racer point of view it sounds pretty lame.

 But I could be wrong.
