Nagata recently praised the professional wrestling of Showa, but wants to eradicate one of the last remaining "ghosts" of that time. He expressed his desire to behead Tenryu and run him out of wrestling for good. Although Nagata faced Tenryu in a tag in the late 1990s, he is a much bigger name and stronger wrestler now, and this would serve as their first singles confrontation if realized. Tenryu said, "If New Japan makes an offer, I'll think. I'll probably do it though, as I have nothing else happening on 1/4." Is Tenryu on the verge of returning to New Japan as part of the starting point revolution!? == I think this could be a really good match if it were to take place.
