What's the best boot disk for PS2 for backups...

I have an unmodded model 7 PS2 if that makes a difference. I'm thinking the latest CodeBreaker 2 would be best, but can't get a straight answer.

I don't want Swap Magic.

No no no! The slide card method is very unsafe as you are opening the ps2 in a way that should only be done in emergencies. The pin will suffer eventual wear and tear from the forceful entry of the slide card. Believe me I bought the slide and the magic swap discs and after a while I knocked the pin out of the console so I had to get it repaired.

 

As a victim of the slidecard I thought I’d warn you about it.

I'll take my chances. Will you sell me your Swap Magic disk then?

 

On second thought, will Cogswaploader load any game without the slide card? I kinda think that it'll load cd based games with the eject button but DVDs still have to be swapped.

 

I simply want to use it for the divx player.
