I thought it was good. RVD/Taker had good crowd heat. Heyman cut a good promo. Brock looks weird. Hall vs. Austin was sloppy. Hall looked lost in the ring. Kane lost his mask and the announcers make a big deal out of it. I guess they forgot Summerslam 2000.

Was I the only one who thought that segment with X-Pac and the nunchucks (sp?) was funny? I dunno what it was, but it was something weird about that segment that made me bust out laughing. Other than that, I thought it was an entertaining show.

- The NWO stuff is crap. Those three should be fired and forgotten. All 3 of them. After tonight, Hall's "good matches in this run in the WWF" stands at 0.

- RVD-Taker was solid but what was the point of throwing RVD to Taker? Eddy Rules!!!!

-Austin and Taker need to retire. I know Austin is capable of good matches but I haven't see one from him in months. Hell, it seems like Taker is working harder than Stone Cold even though Taker sucks.

-Lesnar is impressive but aren't there enough MONSTERS in the WWF. I thought Heyman's promo was ok but the segment dragged.

-I've already forgotten everything else.

I really enjoyed the show tonight.  For a brief moment, I was actually convinced that RVD was going to win that match.  As it progressed, I steadily started marking out.  He may have lost, but RVD was put over in a major way tonight--moreso than he's been by any other main event-level guy since coming to the WWF.  It was a really fun match to watch, too.  I kind of floated on that throughout the second hour, which was significantly better than the first hour.  But they really need to do something about throwing these filler matches like Big Show-Mr. Perfect out there for no reason; it completely breaks up the flow and kills the crowd.  Why'd they sign Hennig again?

Maybe so, but I marked out for that damn Perfectplex.

I felt that Raw was not bad.  RVD/Taker was enjoyable, and RVD looked good.  I also liked Molly's new look.  Otherwise, everything else was okay, but rather forgettable.  Oh well.

I marked for the perfect-plex to but right now henning is a JTTS and that's it.

the nWo stuff was shit and it seems like the wwf is going to forsake years and years of storylines and have Kane lose the mask and turn out to be normal.

the good thing about spike winning the euro tittle was the match was short. and after the backstage segment I went and got a 711 slurpee (coincidence???).

after watching the hardcore match i now agree that the divison should be dragged out into the perverbial street and shot.

the austin match blew (they fucked up eveerything) the segments he had with flair seemed to lack intensity and austin sudden about face in his attitude towards flair makes no sense.

what did i like? (glad you asked) i liked Rvd vs. Undertaker that was a great match with tastefully done interference by Eddy, Undertaker did so good that he's earned a one night reprieve from me calling for him to retire (and just when he was about to crack to. how many crank calls can a guy take?)

I thought the show was pretty bad overall.  I liked UT/RVD a lot, but that's just one segment, and that's pretty much all I liked.  The first hour was just brutal, all the interviews were long and pointless and both matches were a total waste of time.  Heyman's promo was okay, but I was expecting a lot better.  It felt too long for the little that it accomplished.  The Perfectplex on Show was very cool, but having Perfect and Show fight for no reason is still just a waste of time.  Austin/Hall was pretty brutal too.  Totally sloppy the whole way, formulaic, overbooked and boring.

UT/RVD saved it from being completely horrible, but it's still a thumbs down.  Gah, it's been a damn long time since the last really good Raw... :(

Apart from the RVD/UT match (and yes, I too really thought RVD had a great chance to win, even though UT had to go over), the only match I really remember liking was the Trish/Molly match. That shiner Jazz was sporting looked vicious, and the face that she was so focused on Trish that she couldn't even give commentary was a blessing in disguise (have you heard her give promos? Ugh! ;)  ) Really good women's match that saw effort put in by all three parties, Jazz included. Moreso than a lot of the guys tonight (shame, shame).

And Molly's new look? Meow! It's a keeper!

And I knew that as soon as Booker came out as Bub Buh Ray's opponent (I refuse to spell it any other way), he was going to bust out his old moves against the Spinaroonie, like when he, Blue Meanie, Scorpio and Sandman busted moves on that one ECW show.

So what was the point of BBR fighting Booker if Goldust was going to take the pin?

Sorry, I fell asleep during the Austin/Hall match. I think I'm getting too old to stay up this late. Or, the match was the drizzling shits. Take your pick.

So I say let X-Pac keep the mask as long as it keeps him from speaking.

And that chairshot on Brock? Holy shit! That dent on the back rest (not the seat) should tell the tale. This kid is going places.

That's about it.

Yeah, that chairshot was top 3, maybe top 2 I've ever seen. Sick, sick, sick. And coming from Jeff Hardy, who's really not known for leveling monsters with chairs.

Up until trhe last segment, i was highly entertained throughout. Of course, I happen to like the people they're pushing right now (Bubba, Spike, RVD, Molly--damn, she looks fine--and Kane), and even the nWo seemed acceptable tonight. Sorta. I was shocked at how much I truly enjoyed UT-RVD, and how much I've missed Eddie. Good show.

You think you were impressed, I was in the 2nd row at RAW and a lot of the people around me were going "no way!" when he was going to attempt it. Hell, I thought that Big Slow would couter it with the usual "smaller wrestler attempts power move on bigger wrestler and squashed spot."

PS...anyone see the "Scott Keith fears Scottsman" sign? It was mine.

I did not care much for RAW tonight. Maybe it's just because most of my favorite wrestlers are on the Smackdown roster, but I found myself bored watching parts of the show tonight.

Booker T is wrestling in garbage matches while Bradshaw and X-Pac are interfering in the main event. The logic escapes me.

This whole Kane push comes across as really forced. But if they're going to do it, feuding with X-Pac and teaming with Bradshaw is not the way to accomplish anything. Isn't this the third or fourth time that Kane's mask has been pulled off?  Taker did it at Summer Slam a few years back. And I remember DX pulling off his mask on a Smackdown one time.

The Austin/Hall match didn't help anyone. Austin looked weak selling for X-Pac and to a lesser extent Hall. Hall & X-Pac look bad for getting beat up by Austin. And the match stunk. Hall looks really old and out of shape (compared to the other top guys) in the ring.

I just cannot get into ANOTHER Austin/Taker match. (Also don't get all the praise for Taker's recent interviews. He bores me as much as ever.) Especially when the ending is so trasnparent - Flair turns heel on Austin.

The RVD/Taker match did get really good by the end. RVD's forearms and kicks in the beginning looked really bad. I didn't care much for the ending. I know people will say that RVD looks good by almost winning numerous times. But the match just reminded me of Chris Jericho in 2000 when he would always give the main eventers a fight before losing valiantly in the end. RVD needs to eventually beat Taker in a PPV match or he'll end up just like Jericho did.

Where the heck was Eddie Guerrero's interview explaining his actions??  There was time for that Spike Dudley/7-11 crap but no time for Eddie.

I did enjoy Molly Holly's new look/attitude. The match between her and Trish was very good for a woman's match. These women's matches always seem to be better when Lita is nowhere in sight.

The Paul Heyman/Brock Lesnar stuff was solid. The Hardys make great pinballs for Lesnar but I wonder about their future if they are going to get squashed by Lesnar in a handicap match. I thought they were a little bit higher up on the food chain than that.

Why exactly did Vince sign Goldust and Curt Hennig again?

No, what about, um, wait, no...sorry, I guess you're right. I'm just a Razor mark who can't accept the downfall of my hero. :(
