Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted April 9, 2002 (Camera comes on panning down the length of a very dimly lit weight room. One bright, overhead light shines down on a bench press at the far end of the room. A man can be seen benching what appears to be a very large amount of weight with audible grunts and groans as he lifts. The camera comes upon the bench as the man finishes his last rep and puts the weight back up on its platform. The camera swings around to right in front of the bench as the man leans up and wraps a white towel around his bare neck. It is Frost. He is breathing heavy from his workout and does not look at the camera, but stares intensely at the floor.) “A week ago when I said that there were two natural reactions to any situation, either flight or fight, I was stupid in forgetting that sometimes those reactions can mix. Sometimes one can be running and have the blind instinct to turn and fight for a second. Other times one can be clawing and scratching with every little bit of power inside of them and for a second…(his voice falters with emotion) turn weak and have the blind instinct to run, to give up. (Frost turns his head upwards at an angle, so that the right side of his face is profiled in the overhead light and facing the camera as he stares at the ceiling) I am ashamed to admit that I had that brief feeling of weakness on Crimson. That Television Title felt destined to be mine. I defeated T-Bone once; I thought it would be nothing to do it again. I was overconfident, I was wrong. I took T-Bone too lightly and I was wrong. When I realized that, when I knew that I had erred in my strategy, I became nervous, unsure, panicked (he turns his head and stares right at the camera with dead cool), scared. You beat me fair T-Bone, I give you that freely, but I was your tag team partner in that victory (he points a thumb to himself). You opened the window to retaining your title, but I was more than happy to jump through it for you.” (He drops his thumb and stares at the camera for a long moment before continuing.) “They tell me that Kojack is an extreme individual; a mean man, an angry combatant, someone who will do anything and everything to win a match and leave his mark on an opponent. Kojack might have me at an advantage in all of those traits on an average day, but Metal this Wednesday will not be an average day. (Frost stands up and walks closer into the camera frame; the sweat and determination now brilliantly clear on his face) It will be a new and glorious day for the three of us. You better bring all you have inside you Kojack and then go back and get one hundred percent more in our Triple Threat Match for the Television Title. And T-Bone, you better bring me something I have not seen out of you before, because I will not underestimate you again and I promise to bring something you have never seen out of me. (he chuckles low and maniacally) But you’ll just have to wait to see what that is." (He hangs his towel over the camera to cut it off as the screen is filled with pitch black.)
