Guest Mystery Eskimo Report post Posted April 9, 2002 E.C. is my favourite solo artist of all time. Is anyone else really looking forward to his new album? What are peoples favourite songs? Would anyone like to tell me something bad about him? Questions, questions. This post inspired by Kinetic's lovely avatar.

That's funny, because I was just about to start a thread about a bloody and lifeless Hulk Hogan. Alas, I came to the conclusion that the level of joy that would bring to this board would send it into an even further state of disrepair. I've heard good things about When I Was Cruel. Less pianos, more guitars. As much as I enjoy his more mature, adult, down tempo stuff, I definitely prefer his rock music. So this is sort of a welcome change. That along with the release of the new Wilco album may actually make April worth living. Speaking of which, tomorrow is my birthday. I'll be 19. I think I might start a thread about it. Guest muzanisa Report post Posted April 9, 2002 He did Alibi at the Landmine free world gig and that song is awesome. He did a lot of the album when he played the meltdown festival with Steve Nieve and Davey Farragher and Pete Thomas joined in at the end and it sounds good. I'm going to see him at the Astoria in London on Tuesday (16th) so shall report back what they're it sounds like live. (if I stay sober enough to remember)

No one else is, despite my vague threats. Perhaps I am not as loved as I once suspected. Oh, yes. Anyone else like the early version of "Living in Paradise" from the Rhino reissue of My Aim Is True a lot better than the This Year's Model version?
Guest Anorak Report post Posted April 10, 2002 His new single is supposedly very good according to all those that have heard it. It's meant to be a return to his earlier 'angrier' days, i havn't heard much about what the new albums like.
Guest goodhelmet Report post Posted April 10, 2002 the angels wanna wear my red shoes peace, love and understanding kinder murder less than zero Actually, my first experience with Elvis was te Accidents Will Happen video. Sadly, I ignored him until 1987's Spike which had heavy contribution from Paul mcCartney (I'm a beatles mark) and then ignored him again until the collaboration w/ Bacharach. Then I finally downloaded as much of his catalogue as I could. Now, I'm on Elvis overload. I can't believe I ignored such great music for so long!
