Guest Report post Posted April 9, 2002 Okay, some people are just never happy. Why are so many people bashing and giving RAW bad Reviews? Even that Fat fuck Scott Keith ripped it apart. Everyone on the net cries because there isn't enough Wrestling and finally we get like 7 matches? and these fat, Cheese Cake eating bastard still whine and bitch. Over all, I thought it was a good show. Undertaker calling Austin "Cue Ball" cracked me up, lmao. I'm not gonna go talk about every match but I thought they were all pretty solid. Undertaker Vs RVD was A LOT better then most people are giving it credit for. Everyone says Taker hasn't had any good matches of late but either has RVD. Eddie Guerrero is gonna make RVD look like a Million bucks. RVD hasn't had a "great" match in months (Except for Lance Storm) and Eddie is just the thing He needs so he can show off his real Skills. I doubt Kane is getting unmasked. I think He's getting a whole new outfit. Kevin Nash and Trish need acting Skills. Thank God they didn't suspend Trish though. Molly looked HOT. Awesome to hear Heyman's Voice again. Heyman can get anyone or any angle over. I was waiting to hear what Brock sounds like but still nothing. Watch him have like a Mike Tyson Voice, lmfao. WTF is wrong with his ear? Those Chair Shots were SICK. I didn't think Jeff Could swing a Chair like that. The main event bugged me. Everyone is saying the match looked bad because of Hall. I Disagree. It looks like Austin refuses to take any of Hall's calls (Spots) and that is why he comes out looking like shit. Well, not total shit. The match kept me entertained but Austin needs to leave the Attitude at home. Him no-selling everything makes the matches look terrible. Hell, Shawn and Bret fucking hated each other and they still put on a great match at Survivor Series 97' up until the ending. They beat the Hell out of each other but at least worked together to put on a good match. I like Austin but I'm still pissed about the Temper Tantrum thing. So for now, FUCK AUSTIN! Guest Report post Posted April 9, 2002 I Totally agree RAW Kicked ass RVD VS Taker was pretty good we can all see RVD is going to get a good push after having taker beaten twice and kicking out of the chokeslam and eddies Belt shot. Personally Eddie VS RVD Will steal the show. Other highlights were the Heyman Promo and that Chair Shot fuck that would off hurt. I think it was pretty stupid how flair helped Austin win and then austin stunned Flair for no reason. But why wasnt Trips on Raw. I would have to give it 4 stars. Guest crandamaniac Report post Posted April 9, 2002 WTF is wrong with his ear? it's cauliflower ear, many amateur wrestlers have it b/c of the fact that...they eat a lot of vegetables! lol naw, it's mainly the fact that your thrown around and can really mess up your ears. Kurt angle has one and he's basically deaf in that ear. Those Chair Shots were SICK I haven't seen a chairshot so hard since Shamrock was around Anybody else interested in a shamrock/Brock team-up if he ever returns? Guest Report post Posted April 9, 2002 I dug RVD vs Undertaker so much, and the way it was done, that I don't even mind so much that The Undertaker got the win. (If I must nitpick, and I will, I'd say that I would've had him take the pin directly after Eddie's run in and not have the Last Ride thrown in [to underscore that UT needed help to beat RVD], but it's not too big of a deal.) Just cut out the beginning segment and the end segment, and it's a great show. The women are WRESTLING, some psychology actually broke out during the Regal/Spike match (during the 4 seconds it lasted), and Brock Lesnar is probably going to destroy the hardys in a handicap match. And I like the way Nash was written out, although it'll probably look awkward when other people AREN'T suspended for heinous attacks in the next few months but hey, they haven't happened yet. Yes, the beginning and end segments of the show have that dying 1998 attitude stench to them, but the middle of the show (the part I like) is actually making me want to watch. Which, unfortunately, probably means Vince McMahon is about to make some major changes to screw everything up.
Guest Report post Posted April 9, 2002 I forgot to mention this in my first post. Buh Buh Ray dancing last night gave me a Flash back from ECW years ago. I don't remember when and where, but didn't Buh Buh have a dance off against 2 Cold Scorpio or the Public Enemy before a match?
Guest Report post Posted April 9, 2002 No, the Sandman outdanced evryone at a November to remember back in like 96.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted April 9, 2002 RVD vs. Taker was horrible. They blew more spots than Lita. The best match was the Bubba/Booker match, prior to the Goldust run in that ruined it. If it wasn't for Lesnar and Heyman this would have been one of the worst RAWs in memory.

It can be removed but will just come back. It doesn't affect your hearing at all, it's just in the cartlidge.
Guest BaldGhoti Report post Posted April 9, 2002 Geez, must you be so negative? It was lots of fun: Taker didn't even suck that bad against RVD in a match that had lots of P. Bubba came across as a serious star, and the Hardcore division finally is starting to look somewhat serious (except for Goldust--why is he still on my TV?) Regal hasn't got a belt any more, and hopefully they'll take the Goodwill Heatsink off my TV for a bit. Kane, the most cartoony character on the roster, appears to be getting a makeover. I'm predicting a "plastic surgery" angle. Maybe I'm the only one who liked Kane/X-Pac, but I think there's some potential for their renewed feud. Heyman cut an awesome promo and Lesnar destroyed two people without even trying. Jazz came out to not do commentary, which was hilarious to me. Molly underwent a heel turn, and Trish looked awesome. I've never seen the womens' division look so promising. How long do you think it'll be before Trish blades? The only thing I was disappointed by was Austin/Hall. If RVD/Taker had been the ME, I would have given it a 9.5, as it is, it's a 9.0 from me. The -0.5 was for Goldust being on my TV, but it's forgiveable because it was brief. Right now, SmackDown! may have the better roster, but RAW definitely has the better booking.
Guest The Winslow Report post Posted April 9, 2002 'Taker v. RVD was a damn good match. Sure, 'Taker didn't sell shit, but he ain't supposed to. What he did do is get RVD over as a tough sumnabitch. Everytime 'Taker just killed RVD he about had a heart attack when RVD would kick out. RVD has been shown as being a cool looking wrestler to watch but last night went a long way in making him look like a threat to other wrestlers. It sets him up real nice for his feud with Guerrero. If he had won then the natural next step would have been another program with 'Taker who would have been pissed about losing to RVD. This way they each looked badass and can go their seperate ways. Guest Report post Posted April 9, 2002 Like I said, Some people are Never Happy. It makes them feel "Cool" and "Smart" if they bitch about the product.
Guest JHawk Report post Posted April 9, 2002 There were some spots blown in the RVD-UT match, but be honest. They did a nice enough job of improvising and covering up for them that most casual fans will never know the difference. Plus it was entertaining. Wrestling that entertains me is good wrestling, IMO. I'd probably give it about **1/2, and that's probably half a spot generous given the Eddy run-in and the blown spots (and Taker not-so-subtlely changing his position so RVD could hit the Five Star), but if everything was **1/2 on TV I'd be happy. BTW...markout moment of the night: PErFECTPLEX ON THE BIG SHOW! Even with Show helping out I still don't believe it!
Guest Brian Report post Posted April 9, 2002 I loved Eddie's belt shot. Grabs the belt, hits RVD, gives it back to the ring announcer, falls back to ground, clutches head. CHEAT TO WIN~!
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 9, 2002 Oh yeah speaking of covering up nicely for "blown spots". That was nice work when RVD missed with his kick from top turnbuckle. RVD missed the target but his foot hit Undertaker's knee on the way to the mat so then Undertaker fell and grabbed his knee...at first it looked like he really hurt his knee. Very few will notice it but it was a nice cover up none the less.
Guest KoR Fungus Report post Posted April 10, 2002 <<<Okay, some people are just never happy. Why are so many people bashing and giving RAW bad Reviews? Even that Fat fuck Scott Keith ripped it apart. Everyone on the net cries because there isn't enough Wrestling and finally we get like 7 matches? and these fat, Cheese Cake eating bastard still whine and bitch.>>> Maybe they're giving Raw bad reviews because they *gasp* didn't like the show! Wow, what a concept. Just because you liked the show doesn't mean that everyone else automatically has to. Scott Keith's review explains very clearly what he liked and what he didn't like, it's not like he's just whining without backing up his viewpoint. I hate people like you who argue from an "I'm always right, and anyone who disagrees with me is an idiot" standpoint. Why is it so hard for you to accept that some people might have a different, equally valid opinion? Why do you need to resort to immature little insults just because someone disagrees with you? No one is complaining about getting seven minute matches. I love long matches. I, however, don't like bad matches, and Austin/Hall was an overbooked trainwreck. The fact that it was nine minutes long doesn't automatically make it good. I did like RVD/UT a lot, I thought it was one of the best Raw matches I've seen in weeks, and I thought Taker did a good job in keeping up with RVD. That, however, is one match. It isn't enough to make up for a show that wasted lots of time on bad interviews and filler matches. Not a terrible Raw, but one that had trouble keeping my interest, except for Taker/RVD.
