AndrewTS 0 Report post Posted December 3, 2003 I've got my record on every single boxer in Super Punch-Out down to below 20 seconds. I lived off that game when I was younger. I still play it with some regularity. It's so incredibly fun, and I can't believe they haven't ported it over to GBA yet. F the "me toos," SPO is where it's at. Yeah, but there's no plans that I know of to port SPO to GBA. Plus, Nintendo hasn't even made any further updates. I was really hoping for a Punch Out 64, but we never got it. So, I was hoping for the next best thing.
Guest Olympic Slam Report post Posted December 5, 2003 I love PunchOut (in fact I'm currently playing through Super PunchOut for the first time) but a new version would suck partly because the game wouldn't have all the fun racial/cultural stereotypes. Even Super Punchout was toned down in the wake of extreme political corectness. btw, Soda Popinski was the best! First he was pink, his name rocked, and that laugh will forever haunt me! Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted December 6, 2003 Favorites to Knockout in Punchout: Von Kaiser: I love punching the jackoff every time he does his Dlo Brown head shake, and because he's a damn Nazi. King Hippo: Because he was the easiet to beat. He went from hardest to easiest once I learned how to beat him. SPO: Dragon Chan: Knocking him into the turnbuckle is hilarious. Hoy Quarlow: Someone else said it. He's touch and I like knocking him on his boney old behind! (echos boney old behind numerous times)

yankovic fan 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2003 I break "Mike Tyson's Punch Out" out of the closet at least twice a year. I can still NOT beat Mike Tyson.
DangerousDamon 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2003 My cousin once beat Tyson. He just basically dodged Tysons attacks the whole match. At the last second of the last round, he got off a lucky punch and won because he had more energy than Tyson. It was still great.
Anya 0 Report post Posted December 7, 2003 I loooove PO and SPO. I never could beat the first, but I beat SPO many times.
Guest Skironox Report post Posted December 8, 2003 Ring King for the NES is one of the greatest games of all time. Not for the gameplay, or the graphics, of course, they sucked. But in between rounds, a little short guy, who looked like Richard Simmons, came in and gave your boxer a blow job to regain your health. Best power up ever. You can't beat Tyson via that manner... the offical Nintendo Guide book says so, you have to KO or TKO him..
Matt Young 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2003 I loved Punch-Out on the NES. I still play the Mike Tyson version quite a bit. My cousin had Super Punch-Out, and we used to play that quite a bit as well... Not sure which I like better. Speaking of my cousin... WIWFBSAH: God dammit, no! Wade Hixton's Counter Punch fucking got delayed again... Fuck. X Matt Young X: What's that? WIWFBSAH: It's a very Super Punchout style boxing game that looks like it's going to be very, very, fun. It's for GBA. WIWFBSAH: It's been delayed until February 10th, now. I figured that might be of interest to you guys.
