Put too much thought into it

No, I put very, very little thought into it. These are the same arguements I repeat about twenty times a year- I defend Sailor Moon to other anime fans (most who have only seen the American version) on a regular basis, and it's not like Sakura's arguements are NEW or anything. I've seen them all before, so I just replied with my usual answers.

Ok so I finally seen the MILK SHAKE song and begin to wonder WTF happened to Kelis. Is this not the same person who sang the hooks on the ODB song "Got the Money"? Why has she become a clone of Bouncy Knowles. Damn that Milk Shake song performance was WEAK and who the hell wrote that song.........a 6th grade kid or a honry old bastard who grew up in the 50's.

The show sucked balls, didn't even announce the nominees nor did they even have acceptance speeches for fuck's sake. The story of Dot was complete shit and a waste of time. Although, I did get a kick out of seeing Lil' Kim seated to Darth Vader.

the VGA pregame show on Monday had all that shit on it(It was on after RAW), so cut and paste the two shows together and you get the show in full.

As for "Milkshake" that has to be on of the most annoying songs ever, but has one of the catchest hooks that you slap yourself for singing.

Heh I'd be curious to see the real Takeshi's Castle.  I hear it's hilarious because no one ever wins.  They cut the final part out of MXC, bah.  Oh well, still an awesome show.

The VGAs sounded pretty awful, glad I didn't watch.

Just a couple of questions for a casual fan:

Are we ever going to see Takeshi's Castle?

What's the final part of MXC?

The Showdown is always the last game on Takeshi's Castle. This is where the fraction of the volunteers that are left (usually 5 or 6), and General Lee try to storm Takeshi's Castle. Each one of them have to get in a kart and drive it around while shooting lazers (or sometimes water) at the sensors (targets) or the paper rings on the Emerald Guards and Count Takeshi's kart. Once someone has been hit, the lights flash on the kart and they are out. If Takeshi's kart gets hit, then the castle is stormed. The castle has only been stormed about 3 times though.

If the castle does manage to get stormed by one of the volunteers, they win a cash prize which is rumoured to be about 1 million Yen.

This doesn't top Raw X in terms of complete and utter failure ( because there's a very good chance there will be no 2nd VGAs), but as a future game designer I can say it sucessfully put a black eye on the industry. Notice how it didn't matter if the games were good or not (a 3-year-old could tell you that Enter the Matrix sucked) but how much they were marketed. I think the reason a lot of big name developers didn't participate (Nintendo, a name synonymous with video games, wasn't even mentioned)) was because they didn't even want to associate themselves with this. And who exactly did this entertain or honor? The celebs there were obviously cashing a paycheck. None of the stuff they had (B-level music, B-level sports, fully-clothed porn stars, C-level comedy) was entertaining to the audience. The biggest slap in the face goes to the makers of some of these games who weren't even muttered about.

I mean, what a crock of shit.

I agree wholeheartedly. Every single damn point.

As a gamer, I was actually kind of offended. As a television watcher, I was just annoyed.

And yes, it's worse than Raw X, even with the watchable Jericho/Mysterio match.
