Guest Report post Posted April 10, 2002 My friend and I are in a dispute over what Bubba Ray Dudley said last night before he danced. I could have sworn he said "Play some funky music for this white boy", but my friend is trying to convince me that he said "Play some f'n music for this white boy". And coming up with all this stuff like, "That's why J.R. and King were silent for a while after he said it." Does anybody know what he actually said?
Guest Downhome Report post Posted April 10, 2002 He said... "Play some funky music for this white boy!" ... and as Perry Saturn would once say, your welcome, lol.
Guest commish13 Report post Posted April 10, 2002 yeah, he said funky. they would have been able to bleep it out had he dropped the f bomb.
Guest Report post Posted April 10, 2002 Yeah, I tried explaining that to him. He just said "They didn't know he was going to say it, so J.R. and King stayed quiet for a couple seconds thinking they would have bleeped it right afterwards."

Guest buffybeast Report post Posted April 10, 2002 Devon works the Smackdown show, at he is supposed to. I LMAO when Bubba started dancing. I hope, however, this will not be a regular occurence.

Guest buffybeast Report post Posted April 10, 2002 LOL, yes you are right. But the rumor is that Brian Christopher is on his way back to reform Too Cool, hence Rikishi making his presence felt on SD.
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted April 10, 2002 It looks like the WWF is serious (at least at the moment) about trying to get the Dudleys over as singles wrestlers. It would've been funny if Bubba would've dropped the F bomb. I thought he did at first too, but then realized that there would be no way.
Guest dreamer420 Report post Posted April 10, 2002 At first I didn't like the split of the Dudley's but now Bubba has turned face, won the hardcore title, and started dancing. That's more than he has done with his character since the Invasion.
Guest Jericholic82 Report post Posted April 10, 2002 Hey, Buh Buh's (I refuse to spell it the WWF way) dancing is nothing new. When he debuted in ECW in late '95 or early '96, he was a dancing moron who stuttered (they later used stuttering during the early days of the dudleys in the wwf). Of course the dudleys were this long running joke in ecw and they added new realtives every once in awhile. Buh Buh came in, and D-von came shortly after. D-von turned on the family and feuded with them I think. In early 97 i think, bu Buh turned heel and formed the team with d-von. They won their first of 8 tag titles in ecw in '97. They lost them to the eliminaotrs in the first ecw ppv Barely Legal. I'm sorry about going off on a tangent, but I thought I'd school some newere fans on the history of the dudleys. also Buh Buh danced wioth too cool in may of 2000 on smackdown, and did the macarena lol
Guest commish13 Report post Posted April 10, 2002 and just to note, he was making a reference to the lyrics of the song "Play that funky music".
Guest Report post Posted April 10, 2002 Great all we need now is Chubby, Dances with Dudleys, and Big Dick too wander down.. Hope Bubba doesn't redevelope a Stutter.. maybe his separation from dvon will cause him to deterioate into the old ECW style Buh Buh.
Guest buffybeast Report post Posted April 11, 2002 I just hope bubba ray's dancing was a one time phenomena. But I know it is not. He'll be dancing like a fool next week.
Guest Report post Posted April 11, 2002 I mentioned in an other Tread how Buh Buh dancing Monday night gave me flash backs from ECW. But, someone said it wasn't Buh Buh but Sandman that use to have the dance offs with 2 Cold Scorpio & The Public Enemy. Bastard, I knew Buh Buh use to dance! Guest buffybeast Report post Posted April 11, 2002 So this isn't the first time Bubba Ray has danced? I wouldn't take Mark Lemonica (aka BBR) as the dancing fool type. LOL
