Patriots (8-1) would be No. 1 seed in AFC based on better conference record than the Chiefs (10-2).

Eagles (8-2) would be No. 1 seed in NFC based on better conference record than the Rams (7-3).

Vikings (7-3) would be No. 3 seed based on better conference record than the Panthers (6-3)

Cowboys would be No. 5 seed over the Seahawks based on strength of victory.

Broncos (7-3) would be final wild-card team in AFC based on better conference record than Dolphins (5-5).

Wild-card matchups

AFC

Denver Broncos at Indianapolis Colts

Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens

First-round byes: New England Patriots, Kansas City Chiefs.

Damn You Ravens for dashing Cincy's playoff hopes. Yeah, We still got Niners and Browns but shit we gotta get Bulger at the Dome.

Fn Ravens get the trifecta of easy wins...Raiders,Browns and Steelers. Damn.

Just need to hope the Vikings win out and finish 11-5, then hope Carolina drops down, so Minnesota gets the 3 seed, since I don't see them passing St. Louis or Philly

Since Denver showed holes in KC's run defense, I'm much more optimistic for the game against KC now with the Vikings top-ranked offense... now if only the defense will show up

The Rams are not that good, people. They barely beat the freaking Browns last night. The only reason they won is

(a) Aeneas Williams rules

(b) Cleveland has suckass QBs

The team is constantly turning it over. Sure, they have a lot of takeaways too, but any team that can limit their turnovers and can contain Faulk should beat em.

They'll beat Detroit in week 17, because Detroit sucks. But Seattle might be able to win, and I have to think the Bengals have a chance here. Either way, once St Louis runs into a team that doesn't turn it over in the playoffs, they're done.
