Just thought i'd bring this up

I couldn't find the "Tajiri heel turn?" thread, so I figured I'd just make a whole new post.  On the old board, I SUGGESTED a Tajiri heel turn when someone told me that he was only over because he had Torrie.  No one listened to me as usual, but I did say that.  Just saying.

A heel turn for him is probably for the best.  Torrie just seemed out of place with him and nobody ever explained why she got stuck with him in the first place.

Ya gotta do something with Tajiri, and when "buckwheat on crack" is the best you can get as a face, you gotta start bein a badass.  Maybe he could act like kai en tai's '98 manager, try to get torrie to show him respect and crawl and shit. I know the ptc will flip the fuck out, but it'd get the angle over.

actually... that might make him a face.....

but you get the idea

Here's how you turn Tajiri heel.  Have Torrie cost him another match like last week on Smackdown, he chews Torrie out again then he kicks Torrie in face, Kidman runs in and saves her.  BA BING!!! Insta-feud!!!  Now we have a nice hot 2-3 month Kidman/Tajiri feud for the wrestling fans.

Now lets see if THEY figure this out.

Hopefully the WWF won't blow it with Tajiri for a second time. He's got to uncork something vicious to really get over as a heel. I like the idea of him booting Torrie in the face. That or have him cheap shot Hogan (wishful thinking).

No offense to you, but...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't hold my breath on ANY feud lasting 2-3 months, let alone one btween the cruisers.  The only exceptions as of late have been Edge-Regal and Austin-Angle.

Actually i'm not so sure.  A lot of people in the WWF have been saying that one of the reasons for splitting the roster is because feuds can last longer now because they will only happen on one show.  Before you had a feud on Raw & Smackdown so they went cold quicker, now you only have them on one show so they can draw them out for longer.

The smackdown spoilers show they're going the right way with the Kidman-Tajiri feud, I think.

That's promising to hear.  I would love to see the WWF do a best of 7 series between Kidman and Tajiri for the cruiserweight title.

I'd like to see him put Torrie in the tarantula and not let go.  Its not a painful move but the announcers can easily sell it as such.

Anyone agree with me that it could be damn hard to get Tajiri over as a true heel? I mean he's got so much charisma and talent wouldnt he end up like in the waning days of ECW when he was supposed to be a heel and the fans cheered his every move anyway...no matter what he did?

Eventually they'd just have to turn him back anyway...IMO

a best of 7 between him and Kidman would rock all kinds of balls, cause universal smark orgasms, and solidify and legitimize a stacked cruiser division...i dont really hold hope for that kind of thing right now but what the hell...

Why do you want a A 7 match series? Remember the Entire 3 way dance era in ECW with Jerry Lynn, Super Crazy and Tajiri (Little Guido played in them as well) and fans started creaming over it but eventfully they got more and more intolerable and it eventfully ruined the entire appeal by the fourth attempt. Why do smarks always go "I want of 7 match series of two no draws! I would cream for that"...if so...you're a sad little bag.

Ive only ever seen one best of 7 series...booker/benoit...and i dont go to bed and wake up covered in my own juices after dreaming of best of 7's or 3 ways...

just seemed like a good idea to use 2 known cruisers in a running feud to famiarize the fans with cruisers and a cruisers division in the land of 6'4" and up monsters...

they'd be a draw if they got a chance to shine so why not let two of the brightest stars in the division carry it for the first little while until it gets to be more of a focal point

Tajiri has no established personality or character, how does a heel turn help him? The fans will turn apathetic towards him because they will have no reason to boo the guy. They liked his kicks, tarantula and green mist so the cheered him. Having him be abusive to  Torrie is the only thing they can do to turn him heel at this point and I think it is a copout. They didn't develop a character for him so they decide that he is stale now and they need to change him. Next thing you know, they will send him home because the writing team has nothing for him to do. They need a new writing team. I'm not suggestingthey bring back Russo, but they need to find a way to establish chaacters and personalities and pay more attention to character development. It seems as though whoever is doing the writing has forgotten about that stuff.

If anything, there's only one idea that is worth recycling:

Kaientai DX

Run Tajiri as the leader, TAKA and Funaki, re-hire Kaz (Shiryu); then bring in Rey, Juventud, Chavo, and rehire Essa to go against them. Than when Tajiri drops the belt to Rey, have Chavo turn on him and play super rudo. Than have Kaientai DX go on a rampage against the other cruiserweights (Juventud, Essa, Kidman, Hurricane), untilsomething happens (Knoble). The WWF needs strong heels in the cruiseweight division, and with Kaientai DX and Chavo, taht would be beautiful.

KDX  Taka would be the leader,  or hell bring back Great Sasuke and Mens Teioh for a month or two then throw in Taka and Funaki..

Tajiri, could bring in Flying kid, Ricky Fuji, Motagi for FMW

Magnum Tokyo, Cima, Dragon Kid would invade from Toryumon!

and then Kenta Kobashi, runs in and Drops Hogan with a Half nelson Suplex and break him in half...

ahhh but thats all wishful thinkin..

be it as it may, Tajiri already dropped the title to Kidman.

a Tajiri heel turn thats in the works may be good because there are too few heel cruiserweights, actually none. since Cruiserweights as I said was never really given a personality trait much in WWF.

I think Tajiri is one of the most underrated and underappreciated stars on the roster.  The guy's great to watch, and he actually has flawless execution, unlike X-Pac's crappy "Martial Arts" kicks.

I'd much rather see him as a face though, and doing something other than forced cruiserweight angles.

best of 7s...no

3 ways...only when it's not wrestling  ;)

btw, im looking forward to the best of 7 rematch with benoit and booker as much as anyone, but how are they gonna do it with booker on raw and benoit on smackdown?   oh well...

What I want to know is why everyone on the net thinks the best thing to do is rehash old gimmicks? Nobody cared about Kaientai when it was around, nobody will care about it if it comes back. I'm sure you guys have liked a lot of things that have happened in wrestling, but that's what tapes are for. Instead of recycling things, the WWF needs to come up with original ideas. A creative team is supposed to create new ideas, hence the name "creative."

After the WWF works out all the bugs, and turn Tajiri Heel and make Torrie go back with Kidman, I would love to see a 30 Minute, Cruiserweight, Iron Man match between the two guys for the belt. But, the Writing Team and the Main Eventers would never let that happen.

To sell that, the fans would have to care about their characters and feuds. Fans for the most part don't buy into who the good workers are. Look at the Hogan/Rock match.

Yes they did. She was really hot for foreign guys.

Why and when were they called Kaientai DX anyway? And KAz wont resign...he wanted to leave.
