deancoles Posted December 10, 2003 Report Posted December 10, 2003 Credit to puroresufan.com Tetsuo Baisho will be a general producer of the show, to assess wrestlers and decide which of New Japan's contracts won't be renewed in January. Baisho suggested that a number contracts might be cancelled (possibly as many as twenty), with wrestlers forced to re-negotiate or find work elsewhere as part of fundemental restructuring within the company (hopefully he will choose wisely). This also hints that much of the roster will be involved in the show, as the original plan was, so that all wrestlers can be assessed.

Not that 5 of them probably WOULD be cut (Yanagisawa, Jado, and Gedo being the other three, with the latter two being abruptly relieved of the belts, probably The Jr. Tags being jobbed onto the Jr. Supernovas, and the Jr. Heavy being jobbed onto... someone...), but I can dream, can't I?
