Tetsuo Baisho will be a general producer of the show, to assess wrestlers and decide which of New Japan's contracts won't be renewed in January. Baisho suggested that a number contracts might be cancelled (possibly as many as twenty), with wrestlers forced to re-negotiate or find work elsewhere as part of fundemental restructuring within the company (hopefully he will choose wisely). This also hints that much of the roster will be involved in the show, as the original plan was, so that all wrestlers can be assessed.

20 contracts seems like a bit much to me. I could understand cutting some slugs in the undercard but no one of any importance will be getting the axe.

There. 8 basically useless and unentertaining wrestlers cut from a roster of about 40. Not that 5 of them probably WOULD be cut (Yanagisawa, Jado, and Gedo being the other three, with the latter two being abruptly relieved of the belts, probably The Jr. Tags being jobbed onto the Jr. Supernovas, and the Jr. Heavy being jobbed onto... someone...), but I can dream, can't I?
